first of all the property was extremely clean and tidy location midway between downtown and country if you need a quiet retreat with plenty of fresh air then this is definitely the ideal place. if you are the adventurous type then I would reccomend some type of private transportation, having said all that you will enjoy your stay at the Mangroves.

I only needed it for 7 hours on a lay over but was perfect for a rest, some relaxation, food and a shower before the next part of my journey was worth the money. Vincent was very accommodating and pleasant, would book again.

I booked the Terrace but due to a booking issue, ended up staying down the street at Manderley Villas, owned by the same folks. The owners were very apologetic about the mixup and immediately moved me to the next property one block over. This was one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in (I’ve stayed in hotels and apts worldwide) and I will definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Good parking and nice neighborhoods for both properties. Owners very responsive. I do wish they had automated locks to streamline the checkout process and complimentary soap for the bathroom sink but other than that it was close to perfect.

The owner was able to rent out a cellphone to me. This makes a huge difference when traveling without a sim card. I have never had a place do that before so that was a huge difference. calling taxi is a must in Barbados if you didn't rent a car.

5 minutes from the airport. Vincent was very prompt in all areas concerning our stay. The apartment rooms were all spacious and well-supplied. This is our only option for all future travels to Barbados!

The condo was well stocked & very clean. It must be well insulated because we didn't know we had people living above or beside us. The owner and his wife were very pleasant & helpful, as were the local residents. It was only 7 minutes from the air port & the Crane Resort where we were attending a wedding, so it was very convenient for us.

This is my go-to spot when I come to Barbados. It’s like home away from home. Close to the airport, food mart is about a 5 minute walk; it’s an ideal location to stay if you’re driving. Will be back again!

The unit was very clean and spacious! Plenty of towels, etc. Comfortable furniture and easy to find anything you might need. Vincent and Maureen are wonderful people who really went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Vincent took us to the Fish Market for dinner and gave us an island tour the next day!

Vincent and Maureen were excellent hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood very close to the airport. We did not have a car, and used the bus to get around ($2.00). By bus, Crane Beach is about 10 minutes away, and Oistins 20 minutes. There are a few local eating establishments and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent condition.

The apartment was perfect but the location was not ideal. I loved that they offered affordable pick up from the airport for just $16 US. There weren't many options for food nearby. Make sure you get food from elsewhere before you settle in. Otherwise, if you don't mind the location, it is an excellent deal.
