Nice beach, great service but limited for price

We stayed at Las Cherelas for five nights during the beginning of spring (end of September to beginning of October). The food from the restaurant was really good - lots of variety and sizeable portions - although the breakfast was more limited. The service was very good; the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and gave us lots of advice for taking trips, hiring taxis and motos or about the area in general. We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi and private terrace and feel that this particular package was overpriced. Firstly, the jacuzzi didn't work but this was fixed by the next day; secondly, the boiler was tiny given the size of the jacuzzi and didn't produce enough hot water for it to feel like we were getting the relaxed, comfortable experience that we paid for; thirdly, there was also a small leak in the bathroom sink that became noticeable when the mat was completely soaked after an afternoon on the beach; finally, the hotel has a range of facilities and amenities available for guests - lounge chairs, beach chairs, parasols etc - but enough for a busy weekend with families visiting. Overall, our experience was very good due to the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, the quality of the restaurant and the location on the beach; however, it feels a little rough around the edges for the prices and packages on offer.
