「Everything about this property felt special—from the stunning location and breathtaking views to the serene atmosphere, charming rooms, and outstanding amenities like the pool, hot tub, and sauna. It’s truly the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Portugal. The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s the most peaceful retreat you could hope for.」

「The property itself is beautiful, we went for a hike along the trail and was lovely. Amenities are great, a small but very useful gym and of course many pools on sites. All of the restaurants on site are great. The Michelins restó is a great experience. I booked a lymphatic massage and facial and that was not a good experience felt very unprofessional and highly overpriced in terms of the experience received. 」

「La vue sur les vignobles du Douro est spectaculaire. Les employés aimables, sevice 5 étoiles. Petit déjeuner impressionnant beaucoup de variétés. Déception pour le restaurant. Nous avions choisi de diner le soir à ce restaurant, vraiment decu. Le menu n’est pas digne d’un hôtel de cette catégorie. Présentation très ordinaire, et choix très limité et basic. 」
