「Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. The resort manager Clare was lovely. Loved the glow worms. Would've been nice to know that the restaurant and a huge majority of the bar area is...

「Very helpful staff, was given an upgrade when we arrived to check in just before 8pm. Very clean room and comfy bed. We would stay again in the future. Only thing was probably having trouble with locking the sliding door and the smell of the towels were not pleasant. But other than that, nice motel.」

「We've stayed at whakatane riverside holiday park a few times, but the cleanliness of this cabin was pretty poor, Cobb webbs and dust and looks dated.」

「Room was clean and warm, could not hear neighbours which was great, spa was perfect, curtains kept the sun out for those sleep in mornings, bed was comfortable. No Milk was provided nor offered. Coffee mugs were tiny and half the size of a can. Parking is not allocated to your room so it’s a first in first served.」

「The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control knob was broken and difficult to turn without it.」
