As is very typical of this resort: everything is kept a secret that it is up to the visitor to figure out. For instance, the beach photo shown of the property is the beach where the seaweed washes in daily. There is no swimming but there is a big stink. Their remedy (there is none for the problem) is to send a tractor with trailer onto the beach every morning at 7am to grind away while workers clean up. Sleep in on vacation? Forget it! The swimming beach is on the large bay also shown in the photo. The water is definitely dirty. No one informs you of what restaurants are open when: you must ask. And if you get that information, someone else will tell you something different and no one tells you to make dinner reservations days ahead of when you might actually want to go to one of the restaurants. The absence of information was really annoying. Could they not provide all the information in a one-page handout including a resort map at checkin or in the room? On the plus side, the resort is kid friendly and food is good.

The only disappointments was there no beverages in the room and very limited access to the specialty restaurants. The view was great as was the weather. Room was nice. Great choice in pools if you’re willing to walk. Resort is somewhat remote. Most of staff were very friendly.

Beachfront room 308. Lovely modern room, very clean and comfortable bed. Lovely large modern bathroom with great shower. The only complaint with the room is soundproofing…. You can hear the neighbors very very clearly… We had an early wake up call from their young child before 7am most mornings. So ear plugs are a must. This room was Atlantic side so there was a seaweed problem on the beach, however there were teams of people working tirelessly to clear it away. Didn’t detract too much from the enjoyment. It was very peaceful here. The main beach in the bay is VERY busy and almost impossible to get a sunbed as people put their towels very early in the morning… 🙄. We tried all restaurants except Picolo Mondo. All were pretty good. Stand outs for us was the à la cart Rainbow Room in the evening and Cocos in the evening. Both were excellent meals. There’s music/bands most evenings but it finishes quite early at 9.30pm. Then people tend to go the other Bar area which I found awful personally - karaoke, etc. Not island feeling at all, felt more like a socia club. Not our vibe, but a lot of people enjoyed it and it’s open till 1am, if you want to dance etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing. Used the gym also, which was very well equipped, air conditioned and had water, towels and a shower.

Clean room, friendly staff , resort could use updating. No information about property or restaurants given at check in. Beach had lots of seaweed which I know can’t be helped but resort should offer transportation to another beach for the day. Grounds and facility could use some lightbulbs as a lot of areas were dark to navigate. Nothing to do after dinner and had plenty of area in hotel where they could have had a band or music. Guests walking around after dinner looking for something to do. Food was delicious in the Docksider Rest and Rainbow Resturant. Eleven 11 resturant not so good . Also should offer some snacks at pool . We did have beautiful weather

When checking in, no info was given about property, no maps and nothing offering excertions etc.The food was good, but found it difficult to get reservations at the restaurants that needed them. No nightlife after dinner!!. Property had many many lights not working along pathways during the evening which made it difficult to see. Rooms were clean, but need to be updated. Pool area was never attended, dirty glssses everywhere! Excellent staff!

We were told we were upgraded to a villa. The villa was located at the opposite end of the property far away from the center of the resort where all restaurants and activities were. The villa was not clean when we got there. The shower curtain was in the sink, the floors and the kitchen were dirty and there were no comforters on the bed. The staff at the front desk were rude (specifically the evening shift). They were not accommodating at all. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Our stay was great! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Our room was clean. There were several pools on the resort as well which really helps spread everyone out. It never felt overcrowded at the resort even though they were full. Great place to stay!
