Just stayed for 8 days at hotel amaraigua, and honestly the most significant factor into my 5 star review was the STAFF!! They are absolutely incredible: they were all so friendly, welcoming, and helpful 24/7. German Bustos specifically, who DJs many of the evening events, was beyond kind & fun, and just generally awesome. Will absolutely be coming back next year.

Ok stay (for the service)

The hotel is ok, more senior crowd. My concerns: the bed in my room was broken. The manager upgraded our room but the shower drain in the new room was clogged and remained clogged throughout our stay, even though we made several maintenance requests. Showering was a creative art.

Het is een oke hotel, maar met de suggestie 4 sterren valt het toch tegen. Keuken is monotoon en eenvoudig, kamers eenvoudig, hard bed.. zalige douche 😊 er hing de laatste dagen een enorme rioollucht in onze gang en in de badkamer maar er leek niet veel aan gedaan te worden.. Het is een echt Spaans hotel zonder veel sfeer. Personeel is echt wel vriendelijk. Wij zouden hier niet meer terugkomen.

Diese Unterkunft ist absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Das Hotel hat keinerlei Standards betreffend der Sauberkeit bis hin zur Verpflegung. Bei der Anreise war das Zimmer nicht komplett gereinigt, es lagen noch schwarze Haare auf dem Boden des Badezimmers und Sand- und Steinreste vom Strand auf dem Boden des Zimmers. Die Wände waren teilweise mit erschlagenen Mückenresten verschmiert. Die Reinigung des Zimmers fand erst nach dem dritten Tag, aber auch erst auf Nachfrage unserer Seite statt und dann auch wiederum nicht komplett sondern nur der Schlafraum. Das Bad wurde währen des gesamten Aufenthalts kein Mal gereinigt. Teilweise roch es im ganzen Hotel nach Abfluß. Das Essen kann man auch nur als suboptimal und sehr eintönig bezeichnen. Die Auswahl der Speisen war immer gleich und geschmacklich auch sehr eintönig, weder richtig gewürzt noch richtig durch- oder übergart. Das Abendprogramm wiederholte sich im ständigen Rhytmus mit den gleichen Veranstaltungen und an einigen Tagen war die Lärmbelästigung so intensiv, daß man sich in einer Partyhochburg wähnte. Aufgrund der sehr ungenügenden Zustände sind wir zwei Tage früher abgereist, da an eine entspannte Urlaubszeit nicht mehr zu denken war.

Clean comfortable hotel on the beach.

Driving to the hotel through Malgrat de Mar there was graffiti everywhere and several unfinished buildings. The railway runs along the main rd and the hotel is situated the other side of that on the beach. To be fair we did not hear the trains when out the back of the hotel. On arrival the reception was clean but small and had 2 very busy staff. The reception is manned 24 hrs a day but these 2 staff are the only ones who speak English. Our original room was on the ground floor with a balcony which was open to the central through fair and court yard. We did not feel it was safe or private and the door did not lock the way it should. The hotel was full so we were unable to move for 2 days. Once we moved to the first floor we felt much happier. The move was very efficient and the staff very helpful. Every evening there was entertainment until 11.30. This was of good quality and we could watch from our balcony or court yard. No way you could have an early night though. The food was of very poor canteen style quality with an occasional good side dish or desert. It was very repetitive with poor cuts of meat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotels location on the beach was perfect. The sea crystal blue and warm. The beach clean and flat then steeply slope to the sea, which makes it deep quickly for swimming. Our room was cleaned well every day. You can hire beach towels, safe key and air con controller for the week. We parked for free in front of hotel.

nous avons réservé 3 chambres au mème tarif et les 3 chambres étaient de tailles tres différentes ainsi que les salles de bains. Une seul chambre était de taille correcte. Pas de place pour ranger nos affaires ,manque de placard, clime qui faisait du bruit en pleine nuit, bruit a l'étage, manque de pression d'eau. Piscine non surveillé donc les ados faisaient ce qu'ils voulaient. le personnel super sympa. Les repas étaient corrects ,les heures de repas un peu courts.

Europe in one hotel

Amaraigua has to be one of the best staffed hotels I have stayed at. Friendly and efficient people who seemed to really care that you have a good holiday. Food, drink and accommodation all very good and the hotel is in an ideal location set on the beach. My one complain would be that the hotel do not seem to enforce the adult only rule. Young teenagers walking round with rainbow coloured inflatables did not quite chime with the overall image.

Small hotel with a good beach location

A Small hotel with a great location on the beach, the hotel was modern and clean, the only area that could have done with further cleaning was the small splash pool. All inclusive drinks were great with no limit on how many you could get, in the evening it would have been nice to have a glass rather than the plastic cups but because the main area for entertainment was outside we could understand why. Entertainment team could have done more during the day maybe getting people up to have competitive games of the darts etc they just put the stuff out on the table and left it there, perhaps a quiz or bingo during the day would have been nice. All inclusive food is as you would expect in any hotel always warm with a decent choice. Only criticism would be the rooms, clean and modern however the bed was rock hard and only one pillow which was very thin, almost as thin as the walls you could hear every noise and if someone was taking a shower it felt like the boiler was above your head which wasn't great at 6:30am. Overall an ok budget holiday for a few days

Good value.

The hotel is good. Food quality and restaurant staff and service excellent. Drinks quality and choice good. Bar service varied between good and bad dependent on which member off staff was on duty. Rooms very good. Grounds and grass areas in need of attention. Good value. Recommended.
