Well mantained hotel with variety of accomodation options to choose from.We stayed in 'maisonette' with gorgeous view on the bay. The breakfast bakery is the best♡ The staff was very friendly.

A great getaway

It was a great hotel. A great spot to be at if you wanted to explore the island. Front desk we very helpful. Down by the seaside which is literally a 2 minute walk has some great restaurants. Bravo was our favorite. The bartender, Chris made some great drinks.

Lovely welcome and all staff friendly. Very clean but tap in bathroom being eco friendly very annoying! Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by an outside event taking place next door to our room that kept us awake until after midnight. They did offer a massage the following day but the damage had been done otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

A Great Experience

The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a sense of space and lots of little areas you can take yourself off to for a little bit of privacy. Everyone who works at the hotel is friendly and authentic and without a doubt it is the Team at the Irida which made our stay that extra little bit specials. Always welcoming, willing to help and professional. We loved our stay.

This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room.

Veramente un' ottima struttura sotto ogni punto di vista con rapporto qualità-prezzo molto superiore alla media di Creta. Non assegniamo il voto massimo solo perché, nonostante ci fosse stato assicurato via mail e con largo anticipo la possibilità di poter soggiornare in un appartamento situato all'ultimo piano, come avevamo espressamente richiesto, di fatto ci è stato invece assegnato il n.19, bello e pulito, ma ns. malgrado situato piano terra, fronte piscina e lato ristorante, molto rumoroso. Per tutto il resto non possiamo che fare i più sinceri complimenti. Gentilissimo anche il pensiero di prepararci un cestino da viaggio con la colazione che dovendo partire all'alba avremmo altrimenti perso. Bravi ... una svista può capitare a chiunque lavori, ma se c'è passione si sente; noi ci siamo sentiti comunque degli ospiti, non solo dei clienti, la differenza non è scontata. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie.

Really nice place and nice staff. Breakfast was really cute also. View is not that nice, there's electrical cables right in front of the hotel and the lots around the property make the view unpleasant.
