Large site but split up into large areas and gardens to recline in private beach and guard a plus. North of islands is windy in September so large breakers. Food options good. Drinks and cocktails are all sweet tasting, head for pool bar and get a mojito from Chris’s alkways smiling happy and best not sweet mojito lovely lady.

I don't understand how 5 strars!

We liked only the gardens, pools and the waterslides. The house kipper and the receptionist with the gray hair were very very kind. On the other hand, the staff in the dining room were not.. The food was nice. The children's beds were uncomfortable, so they slept with us in the large bed. The hotel is lil bit old. We took the all inclusive deal.

I got there around 10pm and there was absolutely no options for food available in or around the hotel. I was told I had to go searching on the dark main road for an option to eat. I finally found one roughly a mile down the dark road. Also, the lobby looks up to date but the rooms are old. Very dated. Breakfast options were good.

Not a bad Hotel, def not 5*, more like 3-4. The entertainment is next to non existent of an evening, in fact its the poorest Ive ever had in a complex. Also in the whole 10 days we was there we never once found anybody else from the UK, Mainly German, French and eastern European. The spa is good but not cheap!! It is also a fair way from anything so you will need to get the bus or hire a car.

The staff were great and doing their best, but the place is just rundown and not well-maintained. Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working so they moved us rooms and the second one wasn’t working very well either. The pool and pool bar area are wonderful and right on the beach, but they close at 6 PM- really don’t understand that when it’s one of the nicest aspects of the place. Our goal was to visit the Knossos palace and catch our morning ferry- if we had to do it again, we would stay in downtown Heracleon.

The pools were great! The store is wonderful and has all of the necessities and more. The beach is incredible as well! If you choose to go off and explore, there are rental cars and buses very near! The staff is so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed how we were treated by the staff! Things we think need to be improved: Limited kids club hours and it’s not very exciting for children as they often stay in and colour/paint. But the staff is lovely. The turnover in the dining room is slow and some food service is very inefficient. I do think this is partly due to people not knowing how to tidy up after themselves and/or grab more than they need.

A rogues gallery! Run away from this place now.

The hotel is beside a massive electrical power sub-station. The staff lacks patience. I had a hotels.com booking and when I went to the front desk they told me they did not have the booking and that there were no rooms. I left and booked another hotel. Then they charged me for the room and justified it by saying that i had not properly read the cancellation policy. This hotel is run by rogues and has lost sight of customer care and the truth. Run away from it.

Nice hotel, unfriendly staff

The room was beautiful and a nice view. Not full sea view as requested though, only partial view. Room was clean and had free water, wine, and fruit waiting for me. Pools and beach were beautiful. Beach restaurant was amazing. Gift shop was full of items and reasonably priced. However, the front desk people were not very friendly or helpful. When I asked for excursions, she said there were none. On my last day I found the guest services room and found there were many excursions available. When I asked for room service info, she said abruptly there was no room service menu. Offered no other info. When trying to get my return to the US Covid test, the front desk just said to sit in the lobby and wait for them to arrive to do the test. After waiting 45 minutes, he still said they would come. I gave up. When I asked the Guest Services lady, who was very nice and helpful, she said they don't come to the hotel. I had to travel by bus to get to them for the test. So the front desk gave me totally wrong information. I didn't purchase the all inclusive room and the front desk never gave me any information on how I could get meals and how much they would cost. Had to find out on my own. No hotel information given such as a map to find things on property, cost of meals, how to get clubs for mini golf, etc.

Alles in allem gut, wenn man sich auf das all inclusive einlässt. Wir waren, da mit Hund angereist. In den Bungalows. Die waren ok, aber von der Ausstattung etwas älter. Das Personal war durchgängig freundlich und nett. Das Buffet abwechslungsreich und für die all- in Gäste gab es Gutscheine in den separaten Restaurants mit Essen ala carte. Das war sehr empfehlenswert! Toll ist auch der Strand und die Möglichkeiten des Wassersports. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Anlage, Busse fahren alle 12 Minuten Richtung Heraklion.
