Location of this hotel is perfect. No matter where you go is walking distance. View from our balcony, staff, food, everything about this hotel was amazing. Staff at this hotel is so nice and helpful. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!

Nice hotel with good location. Friendly staff. Rooms nice and clean. The Providenca bar should be shut down as it generates alot of noise for hotel guests.

Nice hotel, view not as advertised

Booked 2 nights at Hotel Central Beach 9, Makarska mainly based on the location and sea views shown online. The hotel is right opposite the beach however, what wasn’t known was that the view is of a huge green inflatable assault course in the sea. The location is ideal for young families which was not what we were looking for, we would have preferred somewhere less commercial. The hotel itself is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods to chose from. Internet was not great and the smart tv did not work which was reported but not sorted. Parking was reserved at €14 a night which in my view should have been included. The marina is a short walk from the hotel with a range of nice restaurants and bars to chose from. Overall a nice hotel but the views are not as advertised.

We chose Hotel Central Beach 9 specifically because of its beachfront location, particularly because I have mobility limitations following hip surgeries. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a major ongoing construction project directly next to the hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor, facing the construction site, and the noise was excessive and continuous. It was not limited to our room—it could be heard throughout the hotel, including the restaurant during breakfast, and even on the nearby beach. This made it very difficult to relax or enjoy our vacation. Most importantly, the ongoing construction was not disclosed in the Expedia listing when we booked, despite the project reportedly having been ongoing since 2025. We booked and paid a premium rate well in advance, in February 2026, based on the expectation that we were booking a beachfront hotel—not a room immediately beside an active construction site. We complained to the hotel staff repeatedly throughout our stay and eventually spoke with the manager, but nothing was done to meaningfully address the situation. We were also refused any compensation or partial refund. The most frustrating part was being told that the hotel could not have known the construction would still be ongoing. Given that the project had reportedly already been underway for some time, this explanation was very disappointing. Future guests should be made aware of this.

Amazing staff, they went above and beyond to help us with everything, thank you. The hotel is in a perfect location. It is clean and beautifully renovated. It’s air conditioned so very comfortable even in hot weather. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is decent. Would stay there again.
