Great place for a very quiet stopover

This is a great place for a stopover. The room we had was large, comfortable & immaculately clean! Plenty of parking. It is in a kind of industrial area that’s true - but it’s extremely quiet and only 2 - 300 yards walk from supermarkets etc… The lady who owns the complex was extremely helpful and friendly. WiFi is very good too. Definitely would recommend to others.

Good resting place for a weekend.

This is an okay place to stay and rest for a weekend after a long flight from Australia. The cement factory next door gets noisy on Monday morning, the day we left. There is no elevator so beware of heavy suitcases. There is a nice walk to the Rhine river through a forested area. The supermarket nearby is closed on Sunday’s. Finding something to eat nearby is a challenge. An half hour walk gets to the local railway station (turn right, straight down the road and up the stairs at the viaduct, turn right from the station you’ll find some restaurants and a bakery that’s open on sundays. It’s very busy in the mornings.

Sauber alles da was man braucht; Preisleistung durchaus O.K.; Frühstück kann man sich selbst bereiten ! Nicht wie in anderen Unterkünften auf total überteuertes Frühstück angewiesen zu sein. Können wir EMPFEHLEN !

Ich hatte 3 Tage geschäftlich im Scheck-In Center in Mainz zu tun und hatte die Pension 2 Raben wegen der relativen Nähe ausgesucht. Die Busverbindung mit der Linie 61, die direkt von der Innenstadt fährt, war recht gut. Die Haltestelle Giensheimer Straße befindet sich nur ca. 3-4 Minunten zu Fuß von der Pension. Die Anreise gegen 20 Uhr war problemlos, da ich per eMail im Vorfeld einen Code für den Schlüsselautomaten am Hauseingang erhalten hatte. Code eingeben und der Zimmerschlüssel kam in Form einer Plastikkarte heraus. Jetzt nur noch die Karte an die Eingangstür und nachher an die Zimmertür halten und schon war ich im Zimmer. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß, mit 2 getrennten Betten, Tisch mit 2 Stühlen, Koferablage, Schrank mit Zimmertresor, Fernseher an der Wand, Kochgelegenheit mit 2 Herdplatten, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank und diversen Küchengeräten. Auch das Bad war angenehm groß und sauber, auch wenn die Platzierung der Toilette in einer Nische zwischen Dusch- und Zimmerwand etwas beengt war. Trotz der Nähe zu einer Schnellstraße, einer Bahnlinie und eines Zementwerks habe ich nichts davon mitbekommen. Ausreichend Parkplätze waren vor dem Haus. Fazit: FÜr den Preis und die Kategorie absolut empfehlenswert.

Übernachtung bei Mainz

Das Zimmer war ganz ok, von der Größe ausreichend, ausgestattet mit 2 Einzelbetten mit guten Matratzen, einem Tisch und einem Kühlschrank. Alles sauber und mit einem kleinem aber schönen Bad. Für 2 bis 3 Nächte oder reinen Übernachtungen geeignet. Ohne Auto (oder vielleicht auch Fahrrad) ist man hier aber auf geschmissen, das Haus liegt im Gewerbegebiet mit viele LKW Verkehr und ein Bäcker ist ungefähr 1,5 km entfernt. Dafür hat man aber schnellen Anschluss an die Autobahn.

Das Zimmer war o.k. Wir waren 5 Nächte dabei wurde aber nie das Zimmer aufgeräumt und nie Handtücher gewechselt. Rezeption war nie besetzt nur Putzfrau die man suchen musste und die kein deutsch konnte.

Great low price accommodation

This is a great low price accommodation. The shop is about 5 minutes by foot and it is open from 7:30 - 22:00 weekdays. The railway station is about 15 minutes by foot. Free WiFi is available. Easy to access with the provided code key.
