This was a very simple place for a very reasonable price in a very good location. The quality windows really cut down the street traffic noise which was very helpful at night for sleeping. They also accommodated my bike in a secure location. I was very happy with this place. When checking in you may have to wait a little bit because someone is not always there. I was early to check in but once they returned everything happened quickly and easily.

Hotel owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. We were able to store our bikes in a secure area. Having a kitchen was awesome. Seems fairly recently renovated and has modern bathroom and room interior. Great locarion, basically in the downtown core and all major sights are walkable. I would stay here again. Recommended!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Nur das Bett war für uns etwas was schmal. Ich glaube es war ein 1,60 Bett. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

Gut mit Abstrichen und einem Vauxpas

Obwohl es sich um ein schönes altes Haus handelt, hat es innen den Charm eines modernen Appartmenthauses. Hell, sauber, zweckmäßig ohne Flair. Treppenhaus in Weiß mit dunklen Steinstufen. Appartment in weiß mit grauem Steinboden in Laminatoptik. Boxspringbett, moderne Küchenzeile, modernes Bad. Soweitr alles OK. Die Lage direkt ander Altstadt ist super. Die Haupstrasse vor dem Gebäude jeoch laut. Fenster müssen z.B. beim Fernsehen zu bleiben. Es gibt Handtücher, Shampoo, und einfache Küchenausstattung. Gut finde ich, daß es einen Tischventilator und einen Föhn gibt. Leider ist das App. mit Stühlen mit Metalgestellen ausgestattet. Also Metalstuhl auf Steinboden auf Altbaudecke. Wenn jemand einen Stuhl verrückt, hört sich das nach einem Presslufthammereinsatz an. Auch nicht toll ist die sehr knappe Küchenausstattung. Genau 2 Tassen, Messer, Löffel usw. Der Vauxpas: Am Abreisetag läßt man seinen Schlüssel (für Haus und App. Tür auf dem Tisch liegen und zieht die App. Tür zu. So getan. Um dann festzustellen, das die Haustür abgeschossen war. Die wohlgemerkt auch der Notausgang ist. Also eingesperrt. Kein vor kein zurück. Unter der Servicenummer war niemand erreichbar. Gott sei Dank kam nach 10 Minuten zufällig eine Mitarbeiter und hat uns befreit.

Excellent location in Mainz and very clean hotel. A bit sparse with furniture and decor (the room could have used seating other than the chairs at the table) but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The entrance is around the back of the property and there are a lot of stairs, but this was a great stop in Mainz.

This hotel is very well located to everything. It is quiet in spite of being part of a restaurant/bar complex. It was very hot when I visited and although a fan was provided, I really think they need to invest in air conditioning. That would make the price go up, though I am sure. The room was quite large and the staff very friendly.

Comfortable and convenient

A tad hard to find, but worth finding, and an easy walk to tons of sights and eating possibilities. The shower is a particular pleasure, with a rainfall shower head and a hand-held option, and the towel warmer really keeps the towel warm for you.

The accommodations were very nice for the price. However, there was no daily cleaning and resupply of towels. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

Very nice central location. Can be noisy if you have to open windows during summer time (big street). Otherwise, it's very confortable and very clean. To recommend. No reception so one needs to arrange with the landlord for the keys.

We had a hard time FINDING the check in area at this hotel. After we finally did, the room was nice and offered everything we needed. Not having someone on staff in the evening for check-in was a bit frustrating. Also, it would have been nice to have a shuttle to the cruise ship instead of having to call a taxi.

Great location

Well located hotel, just a short walk from the square, the shops, the Rhine River and good food. Recently renovated and well done. Has a kitchenette including microwave. Modern styled bathroom.

Angenehme Unterkunft, bequemes Bett, modern renoviertes Zimmer - jedoch etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Hotel bietet nur Übernachtung an, kein Frühstück - dafür war das Zimmer jedoch mit einer Küchenzeile mit Töpfen und Geschirr, Tee, Wasserkocher, Herd und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. WLAN ist inklusive, Personal ist sehr nett, Parkplätze sind gegenüber im öffentlichen Parkhaus ausreichend verfügbar. Die Lage in Mainz ist hervorragend.
