Beautiful position on river and near restaurants. Nicely decorated hotel. Pleasant helpful staff “Continental breakfast” very poor. No cold meat, smoked salmon, salad vegetables, crusty bread or pastries. Just cheap wrapped sliced bread. Nice fruit but cheap “Greek style” yoghurt from Tesco. No dressing table or tv in room. Bathroom very small with no shelves. Definitely not worth the 5star price.

Fabulously relaxed and beautifully presented place to stay. Excellent breakfast and fantastic location. Highly recommend if you want somewhere to stay in the area or are travelling and want somewhere with a traditional English feel but wonderfully eclectic decor. Super friendly and would definitely stay again. Property is well maintained for an older building and wi-fi worked well.

Quirky & old values

Quirky hotel in great position by the river - needs a huge amount of money spending on it to bring up to quality standard - would stay again because if good location
