「My wife and I decided to stay at the Coastal Chalets because of its remoteness and proximity to the far north. We found the place beautifully maintained, with a lot of privacy, quiet and beautiful scenery. We were in Suite C. It was spacious with a luxurious shower, full kitchen, bbq, spa pool and other amenities. We found it was a perfect spot for a romantic get-away. 「Haben 3 super tolle Tage dort verbracht!! Das Frühstück von Mutsuo war der Hammer!! Besser kann es kein Hotel servieren. Würde es jedem Empfehlen der wie wir in den Bay of Islands unterwegs ist! John hat uns auch noch eine Menge wertvoller Tips gegeben!! Kommen bestimmt wieder!!」

「The cottage was so lovely and peaceful being set in extensive gardens and well away from the road. It was also close to many natural attractions - lots to explore around this area. A couple of foot stools or easy chairs would make it more comfortable for lounging at night.」

「I really liked the room. Huge bed. I appreciated the ranch slider with a deck looking out into the forest. Very beautiful It almost felt like I was in a different country. Although a little dated, the room was well appointed and very clean. The only down side for me was the light from outside, even with the blind down the room was quite light. That could be a real plus for some people. Great communication and I’d be really happy to stay again. 」
