迷人的Gesthouse

飯店在小路裡不在主要道路上，須要爬上一段較徒的路。從飯店餐廳看出去，景色很漂亮，雖然離海邊有點遠，員工都很友善，早餐很棒！

To avoid!!

Apart from a nice welcome, the lodge is in really bad condition. The room is dark, the bathroom is rusty (and they don’t even give you soap), the swimming pool was blur, full of chlorine. Don’t even think of lying on the sun beds, their mattresses are very dirty. Last but not least, they are building something right next to the rooms, starting at 6am in the morning! Definitely not a place to recommend.

great stay again!

Liked the place and the attitude of the people who run the place! just remember, that finding the place by google maps or waze is impossible and it is many kilometers away. So just call them for advice! I was picked up by owner from nearby. which was really nice! also I got nice dinner even I arrived late. the views re just breathtaking from the balcony! they have a pool as well! driving there is very much uphill, so just be prepared! you will love it!

Quiet and peaceful but very uphill. A TV and wifi connection in the room would have been ideal. I spoke to the ownerabout it and this will be sorted soon.

Struttura sporca.Lontana da tutto per cui necessita di taxi (€70,00 a/r aeroporto) e per raggiungere qualsiasi spiaggia (€100 a/r costo medio per raggiungere ciascuna spiaggia).Letti scomodi con molle.Frigo bar rotto.Luce insufficiente per leggere. Insetti.Nessuna accoglienza alla reception.Internet scarso.Le camere non venivano rifatte.Ho scritto due volte all'hotel per confermare mio orario di arrivo e per sapere se potevano organizzare transfer da aeroporto (come indicato sul sito) ma non mi ha mai risposto nessuno. Al mio arrivo la camera non era pronta.Il peggior albergo in cui abbia mai soggiornato.

we got moved to another property. It was not what we wanted, but the stay was ok. Getting to the original property is quite a challenge because you must drive up a 30 degree slope then turn around. The stay was a quick pre flight stay so it worked out ok.

Cet établissement à une situation idéale. Au calme dans la montagne avec la mer à proximité... Une vrai délice pour se ressourcer ! Le personnel est accueillant et agréable ! Toujours prêt a rendre service, disponible... Un séjour délicieux tout comme les plats préparés (merci Adrian)! Au detour d'une soirée pluvieuse .... un petit cours de créole avec Charlie.... petit bémol cependant... une formule avec petits déjeuners et ou demi pension serait parfait ! Cependant j'y retournerai les yeux fermés... D'ailleurs je ne sais pas pourquoi je suis partie ... le travail peut-être ? ! 😅

Our room was nice and spacious. The bed was perfect for me as I need a hard bed. And the view was lovely. But there was no drinking water provided despite us asking the staff for it. We had to buy our own water. There was no key to our room at first - it took a day to get one. No internet in our room, nor tv and no phone to help us make local calls - we were there for business so that was a bit difficult. The food at supper was superb but very expensive - 75 euros for supper! And there are no other restaurants or options near by. The lodge says it is not far from the beach - false advertising because it is very awkward to get there as it is up a very very steep hill and we could not walk there. Even the taxi driver refused to come up the main road because it was so steep and difficult - he took a back way. The pool is extremely small (it is photographed to make it look bigger) - three or four guests at most could move around in it. And the lodge seemed full. One day 12 children had a pool party there so there was no room for guests at all. We had considered sitting by it that day but decided to go elsewhere because of the noise and lack of consideration for the guests that day. As a diabetic we had to provide our own brown bread - only white was available. The young man who was a cook was always very polite. But being on his own to cook and serve everyone made the service quite slow in the morning.

Faded Beauty

Does not look like the photos, and is an older place in need of an update. Very, very basic. No products in bathroom except small bar soap. No blanket on bed. Internet only in main room of house. A bit of a faded beauty. Breakfast not included, but available at 10 euros per person. Neighborhood is pretty run down. Stayed only one night. The north coast is much more attractive.

We stayed here for three nights and hired a car to explore Mahe. It was one of the cheapest places we could find on Mahe and is close to the airport. It is up a very steep hill and has a small pool and own restaurant for breakfast and dinner (by arrangement). Nothing else nearby so you really need a car as taxis are pricey on Mahe. The staff are friendly and helpful but the rooms are shabby. The sheets don't fit the beds properly, the toilet was old and smelly and the shower was very poor. It was a cheap base for exploring the island but I wouldn't stay there again.

The property is nice and the owner is a very wonderful person, the family is entirely amazing. I would love to meet such nice people again and again.

Villa sur la colline

Bel endroit calme dans jungle avec vue sur la mer et belle petite piscine. Pour la plage c'est à 15 bonne minutes de marche avec une belle montée au retour. Les propriétaires sont sympas et acceuillants et on mange bien sur place belle terrasse.

Die Albizia Lodge liegt auf einen Hügel nicht weit von einem Golfplatz und dem Strand entfernt. Der Blick von hier über die üppig grüne Landschaft bis hin zum Meer ist wunderschön. Das Team von der Unterkunft ist großartig, freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden von einem kleinere auf eine größere Unterkunft kostenfrei upgradet. In unserem Zimmer konnten wir ebenfallsam Abreisetag bis zu unserer später Abreise kostenfrei bleiben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Zum Abendessen konnten wir uns die leckeren Gerichte wünschen. Wir waren rundum mit allen zufrieden und würden gern wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!
