Small, relatively quiet hotel. Good for getting away from the busier parts of Mahe for a few days. Very little nearby activity of any kind near the hotel. Large pool, and secluded beach on your doorstep. Restaurant OK rather than brilliant. Very limited wine list. Delicious breakfast buffet. Excellent rooms, large balconies, comfortable beds, full sea views.

The service was excellent the view from the room they gave us was obstructed with trees. The staff at the restaurant and hotel were excellent. Manuel and the chef aram and Stephanie and the team were all very good.

Although the property and its decor are quite dated it is perfectly presentable. The rooms are a generous size and the balconies are huge. Dining options were a little bit limited but the staff were excellent with particular mention to Jordan

Nice, smal hotel. Loved our room with a jacuzzi on the terrace and a beautiful view. Beautiful decoratet for our anniversery to. Amazing staff. Loved celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary at this hotel.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We also dined few times for lunch and dinner at their restaurant and we thought the food was very good. The rooms were a great size and the mattress and pillows were absolutely amazing! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay with them again if we come back. Thank you :)

My stay was excellent, the beach I would rate as one of the best on Mahe. And a special mention to the staff, especially the front desk and bar staff. They are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying there and I will return there one day

I am very disappointed definitely this hotel is not a resort and it is overpriced for the services offered. The level of the staff is mediocre and slow. It does not fit the description of a “resort” and food is poor quality. I would definitely not go back here. Now we have to stay here for 7 days….thank you for your attention.

What a wonderful experience! From the minute we walked in the hotel, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and always attentive and available to help. The hotel manager Doreen went above and beyond during our check in to make sure we are comfortable after our long flight and to get us into our room as soon as possible. The restaurant/bar staff was always professional, attentive and personable. We loved being serviced by Tolera in the restaurant and Chef Abhishek who made us some spectacular meals. Also , the Assistant Manager Binaya was extremely attentive and surprised us with some special treats at the end of our stay. Thank you so much Double Tree Seychelles Team for the great service and for making your customers a priority!

We really enjoyed our every moment in this fabulous hotel. The hotel crew was so nice, courteous, friendly and professional. I would like to thank every one of them from the bottom of my heart for their meticulous service and candour that made us feel home during our stay. I appreciate dear hotel manager Ms. Doreen for creating such a warm and comfortable hotel atmosphere. The hotel is in a very nice location where you can enjoy a lovely ocean view and the serenity . You may even choose not to leave the hotel during your whole visit but do not do that, explore the amazing Mahe island. The forests, mountains and the botanical gardens are also as astoundingly beautiful as the shores. Being now in our apartment in downtown Istanbul, we feel like having seen a beautiful tropical Seychellois dream . I am sure you will also enjoy your every moment in the Seychelles and in this hotel.

The employees are really young and hence do not speak English very well it seems (simple words as "airport transfer" or "included / excluded"). Many time we were confronted with extra cost or unexpected situations because of this.

No HOT water to enjoy the beautiful spa on the de!

I booked a room with a spa which was beautiful but there was NO hot water to enjoy the spa experience. The first day there was hot water but after that nothing. I called the front desk and service people came but the problem was never fixed. The service person said it was a fuse or ? Never got to the root of the problem. I felt the staff knew there were problems with the hot water from the start but pretended that there was no problem. I stopped calling as I didn’t want this to ruin my holiday in the Seychelles. I paid a lot of money for that room to not get hot water. I feel that this is just a basic expectation?

We checked in around 1:00 PM and patiently waited for the room as the check-in time was 2:00 PM. Finally, we got to our room around 3:00 PM. The temperature inside the room was about 85-90 Degrees Fahrenheit with AC running at full blast. We waited until evening, thinking the AC was working overtime and might start cooling by evening. No Change even after Sun Down. I called reception and complained about the AC. After an hour, the maintenance person finally shows up and says that he has fixed the AC. I asked him to come back after 30 minutes as there was no change inside the room. He came back and said that AC was not working and left. No news after that, and he just disappeared. We were too tired to fight the battle and slept after taking two strong pills. I went to the reception in the morning, complained about the AC, and was told that the AC was fixed/working. I told her that I must be crazy to complain if the AC was working. I asked the receptionist to give us another room, and finally, around 2:00 PM, we were moved to a room with working AC. What a relief. We should have walked out of the room the evening before and demanded a room with working AC. No apologies from the hotel; it seems that the AC is not working in most of the rooms. Shabby service from the Hilton Brand of Hotel. Definitely, not recommended.

Note positive: La spiaggia è di fronte ed è molto bella Il personale in generale è gentile e cercano sempre di recuperare certi errori che commettono per sbadataggine. Alla reception sembrano un po’ svogliati( una mattina una ragazza si faceva le unghie come fosse a casa sua) . Il cibo non possiamo dire che sia cattivo ma è penalizzante in quanto a varietà , appena due, tre primi ( di cui una zuppa) e due tre secondi , dessert minimal . Il pranzo è alla carta e ci siamo trovati bene perché si vede che ci mettono più passione . Cenone della vigilia in linea come al solito e cioè buono ma scarso di varietà per la modica cifra di 110€ a persona bevande escluse ovviamente. Le prime due notti le abbiamo passate alla 212 con odore di muffa insopportabile, alla nostra lamentela ci hanno prontamente cambiato camera (201) questa aveva il flusso d’aria del condizionatore molto rumoroso e qualche volta è mancata l’acqua calda . In generale la struttura è trascurata , anche gli ascensori che sono due ma solo uno funzionante. Di notte sarebbe bello sentire il rumore delle onde che sono a pochi metri ma se siete fortunati che il condizionatore sia apposto 😂. In sintesi NON lo consiglio per qualità /prezzo .
