Loved the quiet location. Even though it is a short distance from the Puerto Alcala and even closer to the Recoletas Parkway we slept great. The room is small but very well designed to get the most out of every square foot. This was a great value; we would stay here again.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is very helpful and responds to requests very quickly.
It's within a short distance of many restaurants, bars, coffe shops and metro stations.
I will stay here again when I return.
Hotel is a neat boutique hotel centrally located to several historical sites and areas that we wanted to visit. Room was clean and well-equipped for our needs, but the air conditioning was not able to effectively cool the room and did not get cool enough for our liking.
Great location, very clean, quiet, equidistant to everything, good rooms and just a good stay overall. Literally next door to Puerta Alcala which gives you access to Salamanca and old Madrid very easily.
Good hotel with convenient location to several nice areas in Madrid as well as public transport. Rooms were conveniently planned and clean but as our room was located at the ground floor we had to keep the curtains closed which made the room feel very dark. Aside from that we were very happy with our stay.
We had a very pleasant stay at One Shot Recoletos. The hotel is in an excellent location in the Salamanca district, within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Despite being so central, it is situated on a quiet, leafy street.
The room was quite small, but we didn’t mind too much as we were only staying for one night. It was nicely decorated, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The rainfall shower was incredible, and the bathrobe and slippers were a very nice touch too.
The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room, corridors, staircase and lift were all clean and well maintained.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at One Shot Recoletos and would happily stay here again when we return to Madrid. Highly recommended!
Reception staff is very friendly and helpful during check in. They held my luggage while I went on a tour before I checked in. The room was large and clean. Lots of amenities in the bathroom so you won’t need to pack much. Only thing I wish they had were tissues in the room.
Beautiful property- they adjusted the architecture of this old building to a stunning hotel. Great atmosphere, very well located (walkable to many different places) in a quiet area. The only cons was the size of the room and the size of the bathroom (super small with glass doors that don’t isolate). However the shower- and its water pressure makes for it.
I would stay here again but the bathroom lights barely worked, a/c didn’t get cold, and the restroom door only opened half way. The shower was nice, staff were friendly, and everything else was very nice.
The hotel’s location was excellent — just a short walk from La Puerta de Alcalá, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. El Parque del Retiro is also very close, which made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and relaxing. Despite being in a lively area, the street where the hotel is located is quiet and feels very private.
The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was that the bathroom area was a bit small, and the room might feel cramped if you're traveling with a lot of luggage.
Overall, a great experience in a fantastic location. Perfect for couples or solo travelers who pack light and want to be in the heart of Madrid.
Pros: Good location, walkable to most attractions; comfy bed; nice shower
Cons: Atrocious internet - WiFi signal extremely weak, no reception in the room, so can't use my own data either; glass door in the toilet; standard room windows facing an internal courtyard, so natural light very limited.
Overall a decent stay, but wouldn't stay again for this price.
Fantastic visit the food staff Paulo she was delightful to see everyday and helped us get comfortable in the morning
Unfortunately, we were greeted by Andy whoAndy greeted rudely and not warm and welcoming. I recommend you retrain him or remove him
