  • Each year in Macon, GA a festival bringing people in from surrounding area pops up for a week in early spring. The cherry blossom festival is a festival that most people have heard of, for I'm sure you have one near you. The one in Macon lasts a week an has carnival rides, strong man competitions, dog trick shows, mattress races, and many many more fun things to do all week. On the first Saturday of the festival a unique event happens that brings tens of thousands to just sit and watch. The balloon glow. Hot air balloons come in from all around and set up in the fields outside Macon state college. During the afternoon and into the evening you are able to pay $10 and go up for a short ride that will briefly give you the experience of a hot air balloon ride. But at night, that is when things light up. With a live band on stage these balloons light up the night sky as they rise and fall through the air. With over 20 balloons it is beautiful when they all go off at the same time. People cheer, horns blow, bands play, and everyone has a great time as these balloons shows each year.

The staff were very friendly. The room was not clean 2 roaches in my room one dead near the bed and one alive in the kitchen. The bathroom was not clean. The room smelled moldy. The other guest staying there were nice. I did not stay the entire time. The staff at the front desk was great!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was friendly. The only concern was the shabby hallway around the office, leading to the elevator. The price was reasonable, and we definitely recommend the place.

The young lady on duty was very helpful and courteous, as we had some major family problems going on, but she showed souch care and concern. She made sure we were comfortable and never got tired of our questions or the many times we asked for help during our stay and my family 's phone calls. We really appreciated her.

My stay was from August 1st through August 2nd. I found the property to be clean and inviting. I was especially impressed with the front desk and housekeeping staff. They were all very friendly. I was even told, when checking out, that it was hoped that enjoyed my stay. My answer was "yes I did and everything was excellent" ! All of this at such a great value!!

What a pleasure to come off a 13 day trip on road for family wedding and find a soft place to land. Room 123 is a gem for the handicapped. Roll in shower, wide passageway and in room kitchenette. Smaller bed but we slept well and the staff were so kind and helpful. So clean and peaceful. We stayed two days! We drive this route to our son in Ohio so we will be back. BTW there is laundry on site so we are going home with cleaned laundry!

Entire hotel reeked of weed. Front desk lady was so rude. She was hanging out with her friends in the lobby when we got there. Acted like my husband was bothering her to check in. Gave us the wrong room number so the key cards didn’t work. When he had to go back down to figure out why the keys weren’t working she was even more rude. Went to Wendy’s for dinner just down the street and received the same treatment. Head to the next town up for a stay. This one is not worth it

They have a refrigerator, but they have no ice and they have nothing to make ice in in the freezer. They did not have any way to get your things from the car to your room. She said the cart was broken so I had to make at least five trips to the car. Staff was nice. Room was ok

The staff was absolutely beyond rude, we have stayed there off an on and never had a problem like we did yesterday, she was awful. We won't ever be staying there again, and there was also roaches and the room wasn't really that clean. The staff was terrible and was talking about us when we left.
