Small town French feel

The hotel has changed hands since the last time we stayed but the atmosphere remains. A bit quaint and we did have a room overlooking the river. Quite nice. Rooms are small but adequate. Breakfast is extra and just minimal with coffee and croissants. Front staff was very chatty and friendly. It is about 2 or 3 blocks to reach restaurants and we tried two different ones and both were quite good.

Attention aux descriptions trompeuses

Nous avons réservé dans cet hôtel, notamment par le standing BW mais également par la localisation qui semblait idyllique. La réalité diffère totalement ! Nous sommes déçus de ce séjour, notamment sur la situation de l’hôtel donnant sur les quais (ancienne RN6 2*2 voies) donc un axe très fréquenté et très bruyant même très tard. Si l’hôtel est bien isolé phoniquement, le problème reste un chaleur excessive (chauffage coupé) dans une chambre exiguë. Hôtel pas du tout en rapport avec le standing de la chaîne. Bref, à éviter si vous souhaitez vous reposer surtout les chambres donnant sur le quai. Seul atout de cet hôtel, son personnel très avenant et agréable.

Trop cher pour la prestation

Un week end en couple dans la jolie ville de Mâcon. Le personnel est charmant, rien à redire mais le responsable de l’établissement désagréable. 130 euros pour une chambre bruyante en rez de chaussée avec une fenêtre condamnée et l’autre impossible à refermer, c’est vraiment cher et décevant pour un best western. Les prestations proposées ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix demandé.
