「I was pleasantly surprised. My experiences with any property with the word motel in it have not been great. I can say that this has been the best motel I have stayed it. Owner / front desk was pleasant, accomodating and helpful. The room was small but quaint and everything was clean. Best part the room had a view of the lake and Mackinac bridge. The property is pretty much on the beach. I thought it was thoughtful and a nice touch to have an explanation in the room of the midges and a small box...
