The Mapiland Hotel was the perfect place to stay while in Aguas Calientes. It was easy to find and very close to everything including the train station, bus station, and plenty of shopping and dining. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the small town and area. Our room overlooked the creek that ran down through the center of town and it make the experience more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff were very kind and very honest. I left a credit card and some cash by mistake in the room and when I came back to pick up my luggage after my Machu Picchu hike, they had kept all of it for me and gave it to me. You won’t find a lot of hotels that would do that. I highly recommend this place.

Nos trasladaron a otro hotel, indicando que su hotel tenía una filtración de agua, al hotel donde nos trasladaron nos pusieron en la peor habitación, tiene una ventana que da al pasillo, no hay privacidad, no hay circulación de aire, el fríobar de la habitación está malogrado. El agua del yacuzzi olía muy mal. Realmente no sabemos qué pasó con nuestra habitación que pedimos con vista a la ciudad. Nunca recomendaríamos Mapiland. Por cansancio del tours decidimos quedarnos. Pero no lo recomendaría.

Mapilan is right in the center of everything. Bus stop is just right outside the hotel. Convenient to all shops and restaurants. We loved the oversized windows overlooking the river and shops. We enjoyed people watching from our hotel room. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Loved the comforters. Bathroom was small, but not a big deal.

We came in the off season and I’m pretty sure we were the only guests in the hotel. The staff treated us so wonderfully and provided great hospitality. We had to meet our guide at 6 am and they prepared an enormous breakfast for us. They watched after our bags until we returned and even gave us updates on the mudslide that covered the tracks the night before. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the town and mountains. A nice place to stay for the weary traveler.

We loved our staying. We got a text to confirm our arrival the day before our arrival. We were surprised to see that there was someone waiting for us at the at the Train Station. Hotel was 10 min walk. Love the towel origamis. Location was perfect: 1 block from restaurants, 10 mins to the hot springs and 1 block to the bus office where we bought our ticket to Machu Pichu. In the morning the queue to take the bus to MP was in front of the hotel which was so convenient. They let us kept our luggage while we were away. Highly recommended.

Don't even know where to start. Starting from the room, it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. The location was very close to the center, shopping, bus to MuchuPicchu and tickets, close to the train. Lucero is a great host. I was very impressed with her willingness to help and the extra effort she place on making sure that everything goes well. I am so grateful to Lucero, because if it wasn't for her advice and very intentional help on getting tickets to MachuPichu for the next day. Santiago was also a great host, very attentive, cordial and resourceful. I would stay here over and over again. I very much recommend this hotel. 😊

Razoável apenas pela gentileza!

Razoável. Hotel antigo precisando de atualização. Canais de TV não pegavam. Água quente do chuveiro oscilava para frio o tempo todo. As atendentes foram gentis, mas não estavam disponíveis na hora dos hóspedes. Na recepção tínhamos que tocar a companhia e esperar elas aparecerem. Mancharam um casaco com possível água sanitária. Boa localização. Não retornaria.
