Lovely and refreshed hotel in central Maastricht. Walking distance to most sights. Charging and covered parking available nearby. Family room very spacious and comfortable.

The hotel staff were very friendly, and there’s a beautiful, comfortable garden in the backyard. However, the room is close to the railway tracks, so passing trains at night may affect your sleep.

My main concern was my room which I call the Bavaria Room. It had a large illuminated Bavaria Beer sign which couldn’t be turned off except by taking out the card. Also on the wall there is a large ad to Bavaria with two models shown from behind with Bavaria across their bums. Kind of weird. Otherwise very close to the train station, restaurants and sights. Breakfast which wasn’t included was a little pricy but there are nearby options.

Terrific room with great shower and bed. Superb breakfast, one of our best-ever hotel breakfasts; all the ingredients were of the highest quality. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Plus a non-hotel extra (!): “Alex”, the restaurant/pub diagonally opposite the hotel (to your left), has an amazingly talented chef (from Bari, Italy), hiding in what looks like just a pub. Don’t be deceived! Try the carbonara - we only had it 3 times in a week!

Excellent location to city center and public parking. Breakfast good and till 11.00 am. Unfortunately, very impersonal, everything you ask, pay, or access (doorkey, parking) is to be done by mobile phone. Too much thinking and downloading for a 4-day getaway and relaxation,even though the receptionists tell you what to download. No instructions in English to turn on the heating. Towels were not in the room on arrival. Building not heated to make you feel cozy enough to want to stay in the bar or breakfast area. Maybe it's not the right hotel for over 60 year-olds

This property is very close to the train station which was convenient for us. The entry into reception was a little confusing, as the door off the Main Street was locked and this was the door that had a ramp for trolley bags. Instead the entry was a small side door with a few steps, which led into a bar area. The check in process was swift. Our room had the strangest layout of any hotel we've visited - the bed at entry, an open bathtub/shower area and vanity, closed toilet room, then a large area with a desk. The window at the end of the room. I wanted to open the window a bit, but it had a little enclosure before the open air - it was pretty dirty with cigarette butts. The room was very dark. The bed and linens were very comfortable. So for one night it was fine, but if you are not comfortable showering in the open this room is not for you. We definitely did not get a room that was pictured on Expedia. Based on our room, it is a 3 star accommodation at best.
