Alles was tot in de puntjes. Heerlijke dagen gehad. Super!!!
We chose this B&B because of its proximity to Francorchamps as we were going to the Grand Prix. That and we didn’t fancy a ‘corporate ‘ hotel, but something with a bit of character. It used to be a farm some 250 years ago and has these fantastically huge barn doors at its entrance. The room we had (3) was spacious and extremely comfortable. There is an honesty bar in the lounge / dining room so great for a nightcap at the end of a busy day. Breakfast was plentiful- eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, cereal, fresh fruit etc. If there was one criticism it would be the hot plate didn’t keep the food as hot as we would have preferred but, as everything else was perfect, it’s no big deal. Marlene, the owner is charming and extremely helpful. We would go back there in a flash. Fantastic restaurant just across the the road (but gets very busy, particularly on a Sunday night so try to book). If we were ever to go back to the Netherlands, Bonjour would definitely be our B&B of choice.
This hotel had everything you could possibly need. Location, impressive size rooms, comfort, cleanliness. The breakfast provided plenty of choices (including gluten free bread and cereal if needed).
Bikes are available to use free of charge.
The hosts Marlene and Michel went above and beyond to make our short stay memorable. They were so welcoming and helpful.
We will definitely be returning
Excellent experience of stay like home. The owner couple take care of everything themselves. They are very kind and helpful. They do care what you need during the stay. Will surely stay there again.
Marlene was a lovely host. Location and facilities were excellent and really helpful. Used as a base when visit son at Maastricht university - 10 minutes drive. Next time hope to use the bikes.
Fantastic B&B run by Marlene & her husband (who renovated most of the barnhouse himself).
We stayed here for the Belgium Grand Prix & it's about 40 mins drive from the Spa circuit in a beautiful, sleepy, & quiet village. The whole property is very tastefully decorated in a modern & chic style.
Room 4 was massive with a very comfortable superkingsize bed plus an additional room with a double pullout sofabed (more than adequate for kids, if in toe), plus an large bathroom with both walk in shower & corner bath.
The room (as with the rest of the property) was very clean & the smell of fresh linen heavenly.
Guests also have use of the vast & beautiful garden, with plenty of seating & loungers.
The breakfast was more than we expected in a charming dining room, with scrambled eggs & crispy bacon as well as the usual continental breakfast offerings. There were delicious croissants, pastries & bread rolls on offer as well as freshly prepared melon & other fruit.
I don't normally write reviews but was so impressed by the our stay, the lodgings & its charming owners that I felt I had to share it with others. Far better than a regular hotel and at a fraction of the equivalent price. Very Highly Recommend. A+++
