The hotel is in an interesting location, seemingly uninviting at first, but after a day or two, once you become familiar with it and its surroundings, it proves to be an excellent choice for anyone attending a conference at the nearby Lyon Convention Center. The staff are kind, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained.

Check in was easy, room was large and had all amenities I needed. Shower was nice and powerful. Breakfast was buffet style, fresh pastries and had nice tea's. TV I couldn't connect to the internet but wasn't really an issue. Not the best view of a train track and overhead bridge but didn't bother.

In many ways, it was a nice stay, with clean and pleasant rooms and breakfast. BUT slept absolutely horrible, because of really high temperatures in the rooms, that you couldn't adjust. We were 4 people in 3 different rooms, that all had the same issue. When asking in the reception, they simply told us that the AC system was not turned on that early in the year, and our only option was to open the windows at night, - but with traffic noise and mosquito's, that wasn't an unproblematic suggestion either.....

Quite noisy due to the proximity of the railway tracks, cleanliness is questionable, and breakfast are really basics. Prices were relatively high for what it is.

Arrivé dans notre chambre, l’évier de la salle de bain avait des poils dedans. La douche n’avait pas été laver. Le pommeau de douche était encore pleins de savon du dernier passage qui avait occupé la chambre. Je n’ai même pas osé regarder l’état des lits. Je suis descendu à la réception pour dire que ma chambre n’était vraiment pas propre. Elle a été voir 2 autres chambres qui était dans le même état. J’ai demandé un remboursement. La dame de l’accueil n’était pas la responsable. Alors, j’ai attendu lundi pour téléphoner si je pouvais avoir droit au remboursement. Heureusement, l’hôtel a bien voulu me rembourser. Le service après vente et la personne de la réception était super. Je pense qu’il devrait vraiment changer de femme de ménage.
