Great welcome and super friendly staff!

I stayed 2 nights on business. All the staff were super helpful, very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable but could perhaps do with some upgrading. It would have been good if the hotel sold cold drinks as I had to go out after finishing work at c 21:00 and Villeurbanne did not feel terribly safe.

Staff very helpful, room quite tatty needed updating, good communal area for eating Well positioned close to Metro Tap loose in Bathroom difficult to get shower to work Carpets in rooms and public areas past their sell by date Car parking but note height limit 1.75 metres It served our purpose for our trip but I wouldn’t stay there again In its favour was not expensive

It smelled cigarette (very very badly) in our room, it did not look dirty but not clean either. Towels were torn appart. It took 20 minutes to get hot water from the tap. Wifi doesn’t work well and crahes all the time. The breakfasts however were worth it and the room was quiet.

Horrible experience

I've been reserving different hotels in last 15 years and this was the worst hotel I've ever been. First, there were no heating during my 2-nights stay and outside was -4°C! There were one small heater in the room which couldn't heat anything, but only for one night, because it broke down. First night there were no hot water too, for shower, but I wasn't noticed, although they knew about that. At last there were one woman at the reception who was speaking decent English while I was checking-in, but suddenly forget it when I start complaining. She pretend not to know what means "heating" and just go away behind the door, refusing to talk, even I was just asking what is happening! Never again in this garbage hotel!

Les cadres de fenêtre et la salle de bain étaient remplis de moisissure. Je me suis fait piquer par des punaises de lit pendant la nuit. J'avais pourtant pris une chambre supérieure et au final je me suis retrouvée dans une vieille chambre en partie vétuste. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Déplorable

Accueil assez froid par la dame de l accueil. Le jeune homme a la reception par la suite était plus avenant et souriant. La chambre : fenêtres simple vitrage moissies, pas d eau chaude dans la douche qui fuit de partout, impossible de prendre une douche, television qui ne fonctionne pas (le son monte tout seul, les chaines se changent toutes seules), éclairage défectueux. Le petit déjeuner : plutôt ok, par rapport au reste. La personne qui le gère est par contre, dans l ambiance proposée : pas de bonjour, à la place, une annonce générale à la salle pour savoir, je cite : " qui qui manque là ?!?" Bref, rapport qualité prix déplorable !

Chambre vestuste et mal entretenue.

Bâtiment proche de la vétusté. Dès l'accueil, les traces du temps sont visibles partout. La chambre est dans son jus depuis très (trop) longtemps. Fenêtres simple vitrage en bois à bout de course, la buée sur les vitres se déversent sur le bureau ce qui fait gonfler le bois compressé du bureau, la chasse d'eau fuit en permanence, la douche à un débit proche du néant, les traces de calcaire sont partout, le robinet de la vasque n'est plus solidaire de la vasque et la bonde refuse de se lever. La moisissure se développe sur les murs et la VMC est neurasthénique. Bref, n'est pas du tout conforme aux 3 étoiles arborées par l'établissement sur sa façade.
