Sylvie was a wonderful host! She made us breakfast each morning and we had fun conversations while we enjoyed breakfast. She was warm and welcoming and immediately felt at ease when we arrived in Lyon. She’s located right in Old Lyon and if you continue walking up the hill from her house you can see a magnificent view of the city. I highly recommend a stay with Sylvie if you want a true local experience.

Great stay in old Lyon

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Chez Sylvie, everything was perfect. As many have said previously, Sylvie is a fabulous host and really enjoys having people stay at her bed and breakfast. Great location in the old town of Lyon, and the steep hill really gets the heart racing! What an amazing city, so much to see and especially the beautiful Basilica at the top of the hill overlooking the city!

Sylvie’s little Gem!

Our stay with Sylvie was brilliant. A perfect host who was welcoming, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. She wanted us to have the best possible Lyon experience. Freshly made and beautiful breakfast every day. Sylvie always goes above and beyond to make her guests happy. Location perfect.

My young adult daughter and I stayed her for 2 nights and loved the place. Sylvie is a delight. Her breakfasts were really good and came with great conversation in her lovely kitchen. In the apartment room, we had plenty of privacy from the rest of the house, and we were able to come and go when we pleased. The room is meant to be somewhat of a couple’s get-away retreat. But my daughter and I were able to share it well. I highly recommend!

One of our favorite bed and breakfasts ever

Sylvie's BnB is absolutely amazing. We have done a lot of world travel, and Sylvie's place is unmatched. Her service is amazing and the room is exceptional. The location is central to many places in Vieux Lyon, making it very walkable. Sylvie is a spectacular host.

The property is beautiful and the view from the room is amazing. Sylvie is a wonderful hostess and strives to make your stay memorable. You do need to be in reasonable shape to walk the hill to get there, as well as to climb the stone stairs to the room. Given that, the short walk to shopping and restaurants makes the hill well worth it!
