It's a short walk into town. The room was clean and fresh. We didn't need to interact with the staff much but everyone was helpful and pleasant when we did.

Meals: They are prepared on site as and when needed. and are of a good quality. The staff are very helpful and happy to arrange compromise when required (we needed to be out of the hotel to attend an event before their breakfast time and they made us sandwiches we could eat o the way). They are welcoming, professional and friendly.

Great find in Lyndhurst

Lovely staff, good location a five minute walk from Lyndhurst's high street. Very clean, good facilities, adequate parking spaces. Tasty breakfast. Would come again!

Have stayed here quite a few times. Cannot fault cleanliness first class. A good cooked breakfast. I think it would be good if cereal and fruit would be available as not everyone wants a cooked breakfast.Evening meal offers a good choice to suit all tastes.

Room smelt musty but clean during Showroom was looking tired, mirror only 3 of the 8 lights were working. Hot water pressure was low.Room was cold.Could do with light in the wardrobe.Staff were excellent they couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant

I always stay at Ormonde House when I visit the new forest and it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who are always willing to stash my bag after I check out but before my train out). So much love to everyone at Ormonde House. I recommend it to friends but I also love to keep this little gem to myself!

Comfortable, clean, large rooms with sizable en suite, fresh attractive decoration. Perfectly located 10min walk into the town with a choice of restaurants and walks.

Great hotel

We stayed with our dog for the night and it was wonderful. The room was a very nice size, very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Food in the restaurant was lovely and the hotel is in an ideal location.

Lovely warm welcome. Room very clean. As we were on top floor, it was very warm. Could have done with a fan if it was any hotter. Leaving windows open meant there was noise from the busy road.

Lyndhurst stay

Very pleasant stay, but felt more like a b and b rather than a hotel. Breakfast was very good but basic, no youghurts or muffins and no fresh orange juice. It was great to see a fish dish being offered., and all was extremely well cooked. Would say it would be a good place to stay with a dog. In a very good location, 10 minute walk to Lyndhurst village.

Long weekend break

Great location, with excellent access to local area. Easy check in. Did not eat at hotel due to dietary needs however local town has excellent eating opportunities.

Wonderful break in the New Forest

Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, awesome power shower too. The staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Location is ideal as its only a 5 minute walk to the village centre with all its pubs, restaurants and shops. Plus walks in the National park begin just across the road.
