Dirty room, vent missing in the bathroom so there was a hole in the ceiling with a TON of fuzz and dirt on it. Strong mold smell. Hallway smelled of weed. Staff was nice.

The outside of the hotel was really run down, as well as the hall and stairway. The rooms we beautiful, updated and clean. The staff was very friendly.

I am not sure why people thought this was a sketchy part of town - There are businesses all around that people were always at - this little Red Roof Inn had the nicest staff and there were dozens of dining options available just a short drive away

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions without issue. My needs are simple- clean room, comfortable bed, and minimal disturbances. One of a door at the end of the hall by rooms 218 and 219 makes a loud noise when it opens and a louder noise when it slams shut. Both nights I was awakened multiple times through the night, and starting at 5:00 or 5:30 it became relentless and sleep became impossible. Earplugs were insufficient. I doubt I will return.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. This is an older hotel that has not been well maintained. The cleanliness level left much to be desired but our bed was clean and we were just there to sleep. One thing that should be remedied asap is the missing smoke alarm in the room.

Everyone who works at this place is so nice ! Our room was relaxing and the surrounding area even tho you're off a highway it's still so quiet I was able to sleep so good! We had a lot of fun staying here anything we needed they got it for us right away ! Great place and overall

Weekend Trip

The front desk service was amazing. The staff was super friendly and always on top of whatever question or need we had. We were looking for an affordable stay but still with comfort and this place did just that! Not too far from downtown Lynchburg just a 5min drive and a great Mexican place just down the street. We felt safe at the Red Roof and would deifnitley go back.
