Old and dated. All faucets leaked consistently! The water was hot and pressure great. Once the renovate some and close the frog pond of a pool it will be a great motel.

Would not stay again

Our room had ashes from someone recently smoking, had not been vacuumed or wiped down. Ironing board and hot water handle broken. Staff was very pleasant though.

Had to come to Lynchburg for a job. It was pretty quick service check in took a bit but it was late when I arrived. Great stay.

Staff said there are plans to gut the place, and I would wait until that happens before returning. The sheets and towels were clean but the room stank like smoke and mold. Stained curtains, lampshades, wallpaper, mold on shower ceiling. Otherwise the location is fine for LU access.

Overall a nice place but the room we got the A/C asnt working at first the guy next door had tols.me he gad just moced out of it the day before so someone didnt make suee it was working properly before they put someone in there. Good thing was i was able to get another room later in the evening when i reached out. Grandkids loved the pool always a plus

The room needed a lot of repairs - the curtain rod was not secured to the ceiling - the towel rack in the bathroom was missing - the toilet was running - the tub faucet was dripping. There was no hair dryer. The breakfast was limited to waffles, sugary cereal, bread, eggs and sausage. Unfortunately, the supply of food was not adequate for all attending guests and I was not able to compete with the hungry men who filled their plates and left mine dry. This was without a doubt, the worst stay of my life. However, I did enjoy the bed - it was very comfortable.

Room was terribly dirty. Food on the floor from previous guests. Hair on the counters, hair in the shower. End table was so sticky that the phone was stuck to the tabletop. Walls and surfaces were filthy. Breakfast area very dirty and unsanitary. No towels in the room. Had to go ask for some and took a while to get them. Bed was comfortable…new management so they seem to be trying to make improvements. Also very noisy, right on a busy road with sirens all night long.

If you must sleep

Our first room, the toilet wouldn’t flush so he moved us to another room. The bathroom needed serious cleaning done. One bed was firm,other really soft. Stains on the sheets of the one bed. Ice machine didn’t work. Stairways going up to the 2nd level were filthy with trash and dead bugs. If I wasn’t so tired from driving all day,I would’ve went elsewhere. Close to restaurants and shops

Bathtub had hair folicals from previous use. The carpet had hair on many areas of the floor. There was no soap. No bathroom floor towel. Pool had leaves and debris and unable to be accessed. Should have indicated that outside pool was closed, and covered. Outside ground and steps leading to 2nd floor rooms were dirty and had urine smell. I did appreciate the good breakfast that was available in the morning. Representatives were friendly, although check-in took longer than normal waiting for available room.

This hotel was recently bought out, and they told us that they had not finished all their renovations yet, so we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Trying to be positive here, so the towels were very nice and clean and soft, the sheets were clean and the mattress was comfortable. All the things they could easily upgrade they did. The physical permanent parts of the room, however, were not good. The mirror had black streaks all over it, the sink didn't turn off and always was trickling water, the carpet was dingy and stained, the curtains were very old and dirty or burned or something. We aren't clean freaks, but there were certain things we just didn't want to touch. Almost all hotels were booked for the dates we needed, and I wasn't paying over $800 for two nights somewhere else. We were thankful for the room, but we will not stay here again if we can find another place instead. Maybe things will improve after they have time to make renovations.
