"This hotel has been taken over and is being refurbished no amenities all under construction. Not notified after booking asked to review did we enjoy by the pool and fine dining in the restaurant all closed main manor house gutted . Take away limited menu continental breakfast. Indoor and outdoor pools drained and closed . Signage poor."

"We had a wonderful 6 nights at the hotel. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub served nice meals and there is a lovely courtyard to sit in the sun with a drink and or food. A fantastic location for local cafes and sightseeing. Our only comment was that you need to be able to walk up stairs unaided. The building is an old building with uneven floors and a circular staircase to the bedrooms. Our bathroom although functional and clean was very small making it difficult to get in and out of the shower."

"It was a clean room The staff was awesome I really enjoyed the breakfast choices in the morning and it was a comfy cozy area for breakfast and the evening if you wanted to go downstairs to the pub and have dinner you could because it was good I'd recommend staying there and I would stay again"

"Another wonderful stay. Fantastic amenities, a lovely twin room with a beautiful bathroom, there was even a Lymington wide power cut at breakfast time and the staff were excellent, doing all they could to keep things running as smoothly as possible and get us all fed. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is fabulous."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay"

"Lovely little place with nice ambience in a nice location. The breakfast and choices included in the price was great. My only one suggestion is re the sofa bed - matress is really not comfortable and too thin. Maybe at the very least a mattress topper could be used if the whole mattress cant be changed."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the well presented hotel, designed to be in keeping with it's original features intact, along with more quirky elements in the decor. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious, and felt like we had stepped back in time to the nineteen twenties. The food was excellent, both as the main meal and the included breakfast, which was a broad menu. The room was very clean, the shower excellent, with pleasant little touches around the choice of teas. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and quietly efficient. The surroundings were lovely, with lengthy walks available in both directions along the coast. For the price we had a short but very comfortable stay. Would recommend and we will definitely be back."

You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! "
