It was a wonderful stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It was beautifully furnished and decorated, and perfectly situated near the ocean with a small town nearby. The only thing I want to mention is that I wish we could drop off our bags before check-in, but I understand the situation. Also, public transportation was a bit inconsistent, but that's not the hotel's fault—just something for travelers without a car to be aware of!

Lovely stay

The Beach was fantastic , really good spacious room, the bathroom was even bigger. Lovely breakfast , right near the cliffs, just right for a nice walk. Lovely little snugs to sit in and have a quiet drink and watch the weather and world go by. Well worth the money.

Long weekend near Christchurch

Beautiful room and lovely stay in what was a stormy weekend! Not many places to eat within walking distance at that time of the year, the food in the hotel was lovely and they are very dog friendly in the coffee lounge.

What a great find! Old world beauty and charm with all the comforts of a modern hotel. Great walks along the beachfront. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable and we enjoyed a nightcap in the lounge.

We loved this hotel so much that we stayed an extra night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the home made granola, we ate in the restaurant one evening which was good too. Location is great and the room we had with a sea view was huge and just amazing. We loved this hotel so much that we stayed an extra night. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
