It was quite hot during the day without aircon or a fan, but thankfully it cooled down quite a lot in the evenings so having a window open was fine. "My husband and I were visiting from the US. This was our first time in Lagos. Because we were only there for one night, the apartment was fine. It was quite tiny! "We had a fantastic stay at Aldeia Azul. The family apartment was beautifully renovated, modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The daily cleaning service was excellent and kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. The pool area was fantastic and perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive from beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. We would highly recommend Aldeia Azul to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities and a convenient location. We will definitely be back again!"

"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, and well stocked, if a little repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helfpul. The only issue we had was arriving after midnight, reception was closed. The staff had helpfully sent a message through Expedia explaining how to get my key for my room. But, due to the holiday being a package deal with Ryan Air, at no point was I informed it was an Expedia holiday in disguise and never got the message. Not the hotel's fault."

"Wow, what a place! If you're looking for somewhere to properly switch off and unwind, this is it. Everything you need is right there and the whole vibe is just so relaxed. Our stay was made even more special by our host Junior — honestly, what a legend. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it was sorting something out or pointing us in the direction of great spots to visit, he went above and beyond every single time. Junior, you're a star! The place was really clean, breakfast was lovely, and we liked that you could have a good natter with other guests over a coffee if you were in the mood. Location-wise, you're perfectly placed for trips to Luz, Burgau and Lagos — great for days out and finding somewhere nice for dinner. We'll 100% be back and would recommend this place to anyone!"

"Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel was boutique with personalized touch points. The staff was super kind and remembered our breakfast preferences every morning, and were especially helpful whenever we had questions about what to do or see around the Algarve. It's also perfectly located between Luz and Lagos! The room was spacious and the view was stunning, it felt truly like the perfect reset for my nervous system to see the ocean view and hear the birds chirping every morning. Couldn't recommend it more!"
