The hotel is modern, cool, and conveniently located close to everything you need in Luxembourg. It’s not our first stay there, we had 2 adjacent rooms (family of 4). The only thing missing is a gym in the hotel, although there are 2 gyms nearby within walking distance.

Fantastic, fun hotel in the midst of Kirchberg, 2 minutes walk from Philhamonie tram stop, 16 minutes from the airport and 10 into the Grund. Very quirky, with lots of little touches and an excellent bar. Sunday brunch is a must, as is the boulangerie, which serves excellent coffee and a range of delicious pastries. You must try the raspberry croissant - it's sublime! Highly recommended. We will most definitely be back!

There was an awful smell in the bathroom throughout my stay. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done about it. I later discovered it was the shower drain but the smell was pungent

I love the vibe at Mama Shelter. The lobby, elevators and restaurant are unique. The hotel is outside the city center, but public transportation is near, clean, safe
 and free. It takes roughly 12-15 minutes to the beautiful city center by tram.

Pretty good

A pleasant stay. It’s in the modern part of the city and an easy tram ride to the old town. Rooms and style are what you would expect if you have stayed at a Mama Shelter before. Fun, stylish, playful. I did find having the same soap to wash your hair and body a little disconcerting and at first thought they forgot to place the shampoo and conditioner in the room. It worked though. The bed was very comfortable and it was in a very quiet location so perfect for light sleepers. Breakfast was very good. With even fresh fruit and vegetables to make your own juice Sadly, dinner was a disappointment. Grilled squid was like old shoe leather which you couldn’t even cut with a knife. It was an extremely busy night so service was hit and miss too so maybe the kitchen just couldn’t cope. A very generous garlic bread so that hit the spot. Overall, it was good and worth checking out.
