I stayed for two nights at the Marriott Alfa in Luxembourg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—right across from the main train station, making it easy to explore the city. Luxembourg itself is magical this time of year, with Christmas markets seemingly around every corner, adding to the charm of the stay. The hotel staff truly stood out. They were welcoming, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations for things to see and do. The highlight of my stay was definitely the Alpha Bar. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—elevated yet relaxed—and the cocktails are truly exceptional. A special shout-out to Jorge David, who makes everyone feel welcome and at ease, and whose mixology skills are extraordinary. His cocktails aren’t just drinks; they’re works of art, and the quality is unmatched. Spending time at the bar felt like an experience in itself and added something truly special to my visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Overall, this hotel combines convenience, comfort, and outstanding service. If you’re visiting Luxembourg, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Marriott Alfa. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Luxembourg.

Got it 🌸 — here’s a warmer, more glowing version that really spotlights the staff and makes them shine: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a wonderful surprise! The Marriott Alpha in Luxembourg exceeded all expectations. Although the outside area is under construction and close to the train station, the moment you walk inside it feels like a calm, elegant oasis. The staff is absolutely outstanding — every single person I met was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they are very well trained, but more than that, they truly care about making guests feel comfortable and at home. Their smiles and professionalism set the tone for the whole stay. Breakfast was excellent — a beautiful selection of food, outstanding service, and the best coffee to start the day. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I had a perfect night’s sleep. This hotel was a last-minute find on Expedia, and it turned out to be the highlight of my trip. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in Luxembourg. Highly, highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay. The hotel was centrally-located, the rooms spacious, the staff very friendly and welcoming. Even before the stay, they reached out to us informing us about the Braderie festival and potential disruptions and suggestions for what we could do on the day, which was very thoughtful. We are definitely considering staying only at Marriott hotels for our upcoming trips. The only criticism I had was with regards to the food. We had paid for breakfast and thought: 1. There were few to no vegan options. 2. It would be nice if the vegetarian pans were places together and the meat ones together to avoid contamination. 3. We had breakfast on 3 days and the menu was exactly the same. At such hotels, I've always seen he chefs rotate the menu a bit, where the hot dishes are always different on each day (unless you're staying there for weeks and weeks).
