  • The beautiful tiger at the Luray Rescue Zoo. This zoo holds animals that are unable to be cared for any more or should never have become House pets to begin with. The man that owns the place was born and raised in an animal loving family and his respect and love for the animals show through his interactions and knowledge. You can schedule a behind the scenes tour of the zoo if you call ahead. During this tour I was able to pet a porcupine, feeds goats, feed bananas to a lemur, and feed the tiger pictured. An amazing zoo with an amazing story #lurayzoo #rescuezoo

The room was clean and spacious. Easy parking, and the was a lot of space around the property for the kids to play. Dining options were a drive away and somewhat limited. This was a perfect for 3 adults and three small children.

Perfect location

Staff was friendly at time of check in until check out. Room was renovated and very clean. The only issue was that my husband had to fix the flush because the chain came off maybe needs to be replaced coz it is rusty. Overall, I wish.we could’ve stayed longer.

Good solid hotel room for those planning a kayak weekend trip with Shenandoah River Outfitters. Showers had good pressure, which helps after a long day on the river. Internet was solid. For us, the AC wasn't working, but we decided to endure it as we didn't want to repack everything after we had set up already in the room. Beds were comfortable, too. Solid place to put your head down.
