I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. "Our finest day was borrowing bikes from the hotel and bicycling to Kirinda. Wonderful secluded beach 12 Km from Tissa. Also the evening flight of fruit bats from the large trees at the lake was fantastic. Be there at dusk."

"The manager and staff were super nice which is really what made our stay. They went over and beyond to make us comfortable. The facilities are average but some of it does need an update as the A/C units are really loud and the curtains aren't in great condition. Also the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms and so to use Wi-Fi you need to go to the common area which in the evenings gets a TON of mosquitoes so that wasn't idea. But the pool was nice and landscaping was well-maintained. "
