Gateway at Lunna
Lunna House Built from about 1660 for the Hunter family and lairds of Lunnasting, the earlist known was Robert Hunter, Chamberlain of the Lordship of Zetland.

Beach of East Lunna Voe The photo is taken south of Lunna Kirk. The building appears to be deserted - perhaps an old farm? Erosion of the hillside behind the beach is evident from the exposed face with minor slips.

Fishing Booth ruin Used in the past to store dry fish such as Cod and Ling. The fish were stored on ground level with accommodation above. The beach below the Booth is partially man-made and it was there that the fish were split and laid out to dry in the sun.

The view of the water was nice. The cleanliness was very good. The mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. That being said, I slept well. The hotel, however, is in need of TLC. The location was excellent. The staff we met was kind. We were grateful for the availability.
