Very good hotel in Luneburg

Clean and nice hotel in the outskirts of Luneburg. Very nice staff in the reception and in the breakfast restaurant in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The breakfast staff baked the best gluten free bread I have had for me for breakfast! Highly recommended.

Laut Internet sollte das Restaurant "Schnecke" saisonale und regionalte Speisen anbieten. Leider ist das Restaurant schon seit 1.7.2025 geschlossen. Wegen des Restaurants hatte ich gebucht. Es sollte doch möglich sein, innerhalb von fast 2 Monaten (ohne Vorlaufzeit - man schließt das Restaurant nicht von einem Tag auf den anderen)den Internetauftritt zu berichtigen. Auch die Hotellobby war ab 21 Uhr geschlossen - man konnte nicht noch an der Bar was bestellen

Hundevenligt - oplyses der om hotellet. Da vi kom fik vi at vide at hunden ikke var velkommen i restaurant- og barområdet. Vi havde allerede da vi bestilte 5 måneder i forvejen, meddelt hotellet at vi kom med en mindre hund. Vi kunne enten lade hunden være alene på værelset eller spise hver for sig. Det endte med at vi listede os ned til morgenmaden sammen med hunden, som var i en taske. Værelset var trist. Vi skulle have 5 overnatning, men det bar værelset ikke præg af. Udsigten var at se ind i en hvid mur. Rengøringen var gjort med venstre hånd. Flere dage blev skraldespanden ikke tømt. Der blev ikke fyldt op med kaffekapsler, sengetøjet var hullet. På badeværelset sad toiletrulleholderen løs og makeup-spejlet var også løst. Hotellet var ikke i den billige ende og vi betalte 25 € pr døgn for hunden. For det lovede hotellet hunde-godbider og vand skåle. Intet var at finde. Størstedelen af personalet undlod at hilse, der var ingen "guten Morgen" Samlet set har det være en dyr og skuffende fornøjelse.
