Great hotel just outside city centre. Easy to access and lots of good parking. The restaurant was great and known for its chefs and chef training. Fully involved owners and buffet breakfast was plentiful. Parking was easy and nice and quiet at night

The owner and staff were always easily accessible, knowledgeable and helpful. Quiet relaxed atmosphere 10 minutes by train from the old historic part of Lucerne and the train was free. My room looked out over horse pastures which was a great departure for the crowed noisy streets of downtown areas. The chef had over 40 years of experience and the dinners he prepared were delicious. Best place I stayed in three countries.

Absolutely fabulous, great communication and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room but this is common in the region. Highly recommended

Family owned hotel and restaurant was a nice touch. Located just outside of Luzern downtown and reachable by train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note the train only comes once an hour so plan accordingly. Several walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and provided travel adapters for free. Breakfast was a nice spread including eggs, cheese, meats and other items. Hotel was very quiet and well kept. Great base for Luzern and the area.

Mattresses were very poor quality: thin and lumpy. Dinner portions were tiny, and very expensive. No telephone in room to contact reception desk and no safe in room. Bed sheets were of poor quality. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. That’s all!

Great Stay, Awesome Service!

Great Stay, about 7-8 mins walk to the nearest Hbf/Bahnhof (train + bus). Room was adequate as well as the bathroom! Tap water is fresh and clean (as much as in most, if not all parts of Switzerland - otherwise said). Temperature control on the water pressure is fantastic, you can get really cold water or really hot water if you wanted the extremes. Bed comfy for two, TV great. Breakfast was good, just your regular cold cuts, bread, yogurt, juice/coffee, fruits, hard boiled eggs! delicious! Otherwise, comfortable stay! however just a future recommendation (for summer time especially and maybe winter) but a ice machine for the guest to get some delicious ice in a small insulated cooler (for each room)? since there is no A/C (only a small portable fan which is better than nothing) and no individual fridge (which both of these are not evident in many hotels). The ice would be very refreshing in the summer time!
