Oasis after a crazy day

Last minute stay required and it was within walking distance. A quiet refuge to a crazy day. Great reception and a relaxing sleep.

A week in Lucca

The B&B was lovely, very Art Deco. The staff were excellent. The owners did everything they could to make our stay a wonderful experience. The room we had was the budget room, which meant it was smaller than the others. With hindsight, we should have opted for a larger room, which were more spacious. The Breakfasts were very good value at euro5 per person. The Air con worked fine. There is quite a bit of traffic noise at the front of the building, but it is an easy walk into the walled city and convenient for the train station and buses. I would definitely go back here again, but will book the larger rooms next time.

La struttura è molto curata nei dettagli, la camera è fresca,arredata con gusto e molto pulita. Il bagno grande e la doccia taglia XL. A colazione le proposte prevedono sia dolce che salato, croissant e torte buonissime. Noi abbiamo soggiornato il primo weekend di luglio, e nonostante la temperatura esterna ostile, la camera era fresca. Molto comoda per raggiungere il centro e le mura, dove durante il Summer festival si svolgono i concerti, a piedi con una passeggiata di una decina di minuti.

Il b&b è in una posizione strategica x chi desidera visitare la città xke si trova vicinissimo alle mura. Unica pecca nella descrizione si parla di "parcheggio gratuito", invece non esiste e devi lasciare l'auto sulla strada. Per il resto tt ok, personale e ambiente molto accogliente.

Perfekt für Stadtbesichtigung

Wirklich sehr sehr freundliche Besitzer, in guter Lage. Frühstück TOP!! Parkplätze gehören leider nicht direkt zum Hotel, man parkt auf Gratisplätzen an der Straße, sofern etwas frei ist. Aber es gibt rund um das Hotel einige Möglichkeiten, also sollte das nicht wirklich ein Problem sein.

Breakfast was fine and Lucia was very nice. La Mimosa also,provides bicycles free of charge. What is stated incorrectly is the fact that La Mimosa does NOT provide any free parking. There is some free street parking one block away but all spots were taken. We had to park at metered street parking. Also, hotel.com had confirmed two large beds and La Mimosa wanted to charge me an additional fee even though I had confirmed with hotel.com that there would be no additional charge. After a lengthy discussion, La Mimosa accepted the price from hotel.com.

Charming BnB just outside the city walls

A lovely place to stay, a few minutes walk to the city walls. Our room was delightful and very comfortable. The breakfast each day was lavish and delicious. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and this was the perfect romantic location.

Grazioso albergo a due passi dalle mura cittadine che racchiudono il centro storico. Accoglienza perfetta grande pulizia e confort della camera che era provvista di tutti gli accessori e il cambio degli asciugamani è stato fatto anche se non richiesto. Colazione squisita con torte e marmellate fatte personalmente dalla nostra gentile ospite.

Struttura molto cari, pulito, vicino alla città.

I proprietari sono squisiti, ci hanno dato una camera migliore di quella che avevamo scelto. Ottima la colazione e varia, in parte preparata personalmente dalla signora( torte, marmellate). Il proprietario il mattino è stato cosi gentile da portarci in stazione. Se in avvenire avro bisogno di pernottare a Lucca ci ritornerò volentieri.

Nice Hotel short walk from Lucca old town

Little gem of a hotel. Owners are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Ideally situated, just a short stroll to the walls of Lucca. Rooms are spotless and have been recently redecorated. Excellent breakfast choice available. Central Railway Station 20 minute walk away, frequent trains to Pisa (30 mins.) and Florence (1 hr. 20 mins.) Travelled with friends and family (3 rooms, 6 people) and stayed 10 days. So only fair to say that we gave it a proper trial. Even organised airport transfers on our behalf. No complaints.

- Kein Empfang von deutschem Fernsehen. Auf unsere Bitte es einzurichten, gab es Versprechungen, aber keine Taten. - Kein Telefon für eventuelle Notrufe auf dem Zimmer, wäre erforderlich gewesen, da die Rezeption nicht ständig besetzt war. - Kein Parkplatz. Wir mußten einen Parkplatz im öffentlichen Verkehrsraum suchen, was sich als schwierig herausstellte. - Im bestellten 2 - Bettzimmer gab es lediglich einen Stuhl als Sitzgelegenheit. - WC -Papier wurde nur auf Verlangen nachgefüllt, der Hygeieneeimer im Bad wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht geleert.
