"This hotel is beautiful. It has a wonderful location in Blowing Rock with plenty of parking and easy walks to shops and restaurants. The only issue is traffic noise and the town itself should work on controlling that. It's better to have a room in the back of the hotel. Otherwise, I enjoyed our stay at The Embers."

"The staff was helpful when we needed extra bedding for the pull out sofa-bed Although I felt that the bedding should have been in the room before needing it There were plenty of towels and the room was clean overall but I felt it needed a good deep cleaning"

"The motel is clean and not too far from the downtown however we chose not to walk it due to busy road and rain. The room itself could use some side lamps next to the bed. Also they didn’t service our room during our two day stay. We tried to get fresh towels but office is manned only during certain hours. No very convenient. The motel is old school shower and shower head but water pressure was great."
