Weekend trip

Overnight getaway- the home was amazing, so welcoming, enjoyable with everything you could need included. We enjoyed the pool and sitting in the sun room, petting the goats, and the peace and quiet of this country setting. The room was excellent, beds super comfy, bathroom had a beautiful shower. To top it all off, Teresa and her husband, the owners, made sure our stay was the best. The breakfast selection was great and we had the best waffles we have ever had, the food was delicious. Nearby is a riverwalk with historical significance, and a great pizza place called Jailhouse pizza.

There were farm animals all around the property. My son and I were able to feed the goats and Spice the horse. We also had a deck off our bedroom and the staff gave my son construction toys to play with to make his stay more enjoyable. If i ever come back to Kentucky, i will definitely be staying at the Southern Grace Bed and Breakfast.

Stay here, you will love it!

So glad we stayed a couple of nights here in Brandenburg, Enjoyed the proprietors, their lovely home, our room, the great breakfasts, beautiful grounds (including a nearby barn with Alpacas), proximity to our country destinations near Brandenburg, and everything about our stay. High recommend you treat yourselves to a stay!

Beautiful Country Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southern Grace Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating of our schedule and the breakfast is fabulous! We stayed in the 800 square foot suite which had its own entrance, very convenient since we returned late every evening. The surrounding countryside is beautiful yet the home was located close to everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

I must admit, this was my first visit to a B&B, and the only reason for selecting this place was there were no hotels anywhere near Louisville. I only stayed one night for business, but that is all I needed. I was very surprised upon my approach to the house and amazed when the door was opened. What a great place, run by people that love what they do which transcends into excellent customer service. Next time I will be bringing my wife.

Fun and relaxing and quiet.Excellent breakfast and afternoon snacks.Ample parking,fishing,paddle boating,lovely rooms,Internet and WiFi access. Beautiful furnishings and antiques,variety of books to read,big screen ,flat TV. Owners attentive and very friendly and personable.Would return for Christmas holidays.

If you want the consummate Bed and Breakfast experience, book your stay at Southern Grace!! This place sets the bar HIGH and is, without question, the best I have ever experienced. The website aptly portrays the spectacular setting, lovely accommodations, on-site amenities and fantastic breakfasts, but, there is so much more. Owners, Theresa and David will pamper you with Southern hospitality that is genuine and memorable. The healthy breakfasts they prepare are delectable and made us sorry we had only four days to enjoy such treats as homemade sweet potato waffles and the best oatmeal I have ever eaten--laced with yogurt and topped with peaches, more yogurt and pecans! Our room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The Tempur-pedic beds were wonderfully complete with goose down comforters and lavish pillows and made each night's sleep a joy! The entire home is elegantly decorated and each of the five guest rooms, all with private baths and internet, is tastefully and colorfully decorated. The 'icing on the cake' however, is the TLC that each and every guest gets from the moment they arrive from Theresa and David. They both went out of their way to share their love of Kentucky and various nearby attractions with us and even drew maps to aid us on our daily excursions. Since we were there for the Derby, and knowing that with 164,000 people in town, dining out after the Derby would be a nightmare, they made a scrumptious pork loin dinner that was ready when we returned from the chaos of the Derby. What a distinct pleasure it was to have a home-cooked meal and relax around the table with all the guests!!! My friend that I was traveling with had never been to a B&B, so you can imagine how splendid the whole experience was for her! We are already thinking ahead to when we can escape again to enjoy the whole experience at Southern Grace! We shall return!

Southern Grace B & B in Brandenburg, KY

The hosts made this such an enjoyable experience. Close to Ft Knox and was a perfect place for us to stay and not over burden our son and daughter in law with a new born. Breakfasts were fantastic and goodies all day. Beautiful Inn and grounds with all kinds of farm animals and where they get their fresh eggs for breakfast. We will stay with them again when we go back to visit.
