This motel is far from fancy, but it was perfect for our needs. Convenient to the activities we came to Louisville to do. The rooms were large and roomy. The beds were comfortable and the price was right. It was hot and the air conditioning worked well. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Climate was fine but TV did not work. Had to keep getting keys reprogrammed, hard to open door, no chair for desk, not enough outlets, WIFI hardly there, and no trashcan.

This was the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. Drug deals and prostitution in the parking lot. Sheets an cover had hair on them. We had to go buy exta pillows an our own covers. Looked like blood splattered on the wall

We stopped by for the duration of the festival. The price was overpriced by 2.5 times, there was no choice of room. There were 4 of us in two rooms. One room was equipped with a refrigerator, the second one was not, there were no microwaves. I asked for a microwave oven - they put it for the morning only. A friend asked for a refrigerator for three days, but they never got it. The windows don't close (there are cracks because of the skew) they smoke all the time and shout under your window, it's scary to go out and say something. There are always beggars on the territory. There are unpleasant smells from very old furniture in the room. The beds are not comfortable.

I have really enjoyed my stay at the Budgeted. This hotel has improved tremendously. The rooms were clean and cozy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will continue to utilize this hotel and recommend it to family and friends.

We stayed here because of the high prices at the nice hotels in the Louisville area and this was somewhat affordable considering how the hotels jack up the prices for special events as in the Kentucky Derby. The room itself was clean enough and the bed comfortable but the exterior of the building complex was scary. We had to have someone from the front desk open our room each time we wanted to enter upon returning. This was a major inconvenience but Budgetel made good and returned some money which was fair. On any other occasion Iā€™d say look for someplace else.
