We arrived after hours but a quick call to the posted number brought a cheerful kind person to check us in. It is clean and I liked the way the furniture was arranged with dressers on each side of the bed. The toilet was not firmly fixed on the floor and wobbled. Strangely, there was no toilet paper. I am not sure if that was an oversight or par for extended stay places. It was inexpensive and for the price it was adequate

My fault for choosing an extended stay. Questionable activity going on 24 hrs a day at this place. If you want to get high for free, then walk down any hallway at this establishment. The only thing they going for them is the nice employees. We drove 10 hours to get to Louisville and we had to ask for toilet paper in our bathroom. Definitely in need of some updating. Most definitely would not book here again.

I made a reservation Expedia told me to be there to check in the next day . When I got there they were closed. I had a family emergency so I couldn’t spend the rest of my afternoon stalking the internet going from Expedia to birch suites to figure out why they were close although I did try reaching out to Expedia with no results . So trip cancelled went home . Next day birch suites said since I had made the reservation thru Expedia then they were the ones that had to change my reservation date because their hours had changed without updating them . Expedia told me I was s****outta luck pretty much so I never got a refund or another reservation.’. My money was stolen by the both of them and this is the best part…..I PAID THE 9 EXTRA DOLLARS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GRANTEE ME MY MONEY in case of a situation like my reservation being canceled. What a joke!!!

It was what I guess I should have expected for the price. There was a dirty pair on underwear left in the drawers. And we weren't able to get towels the 3 days we were there.

Charged two times for one night. Hotel desk clerk claimed Expedia did it. But I mark ALL rooms "pay at hotel," and my bank statement showed the charge from Birch Hill. Told the desk clerk that. Desk clerk pretended to read from the screen that Expedia reserved the room for 2 nights. Nope: my Expedia receipt shows one night. My hotel receipt shows one night. So desk clerk tells me to call at 9am next day and speak to manager. I do. Desk clerk says manager told her it's Expedia's problem, but I insist. Finally, the manager gets on the phone and ADMITS that Birch Hill is the one that issued the charge, and that I only authorized one night. Manager says they'll refund the second night, but only after lying yet again that I reserved 2 nights. She sent a receipt, the exact one I signed when I checked in, and told me it would take 7 days to reverse the charge that they made BEFORE THE SECOND NIGHT EVER HAPPENED. These people are liars. Their reviews are part of a contest to give away free nights. Do not go here.

when we went to check in at 8:17 p.m. they said they did not have a room ready and then they gave us a room that they knew had an issue with the TV in the remote cuz they were moving somebody out of it as we came in to check in. the girl that worked there named Natalie was very hateful and rude. we never did get a remote so we were unable to watch TV. we had to to go to the office three or four times because no one was there in o please stop rder to get towels and wash rags. told I will never stay there again and I would never recommend it to anyone. it is a miserable place. I would take it off the website if I were you guys
