「Although I booked the lodge only for a one-night stay-over, I was impressed by the calm, tranquil, relaxing atmosphere and setting. Welcomed by a whole range of bass to soprano frog-soloists competing with each other, I felt like entering paradise. Slept well in a spacious suite, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, included in the rate.」

「The check in was poor as communication between Hotels.com and the hotel was non existent,my reservationwas not received by Avoca ,I think hotels.com is to blame here.Security guards at the establishment were very rude and unfriendly. Rooms were very comfortable and clean,the establishment was very peaceful 」

「There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all.」
