"More real chairs needed as there are two of us travelling. A working fridge to chill some wine and other perishables would be welcome. There seem to be a lot of unnecessary security doors that made ingress/egress cumbersome. Having bus access to Eyre Square was a handy alternative to a taxi before 6pm. Having the Spar convenience store nearby offered handy fast food choices Staff were very helpful in explaining how to book local tours online without running into (two factor authentication - text message) restrictions ---great!!!!!"

"Lovely ocean facing room with lots of space.Bith the room and bathroom were clean if a little old fashioned. Staff in reception were very helpful but found the restaurant( Brasserie) staff a efficient but not particularly warm or welcoming. Location very good for sea front and for transport linksgto town centre.Some good bars and restaurants around- better value than eating in the hotel"

"Room was clean and the staff were great to us. Hotel’s location was also great. 5 minute walk to the city centre, train, bus station, and Lidl (supermarket). Only thing that could have been better is a little bench for luggage and possibly another chair. We were two people so it would get crammy at times. Also, the walls are thin. Everything can be heard from the hallway. Luckily we had a corner room so it wasn’t bad at all. Overall, we would definitely come to the Dean again!"

"This hostel was in a great location, on a bus route just 10 minutes from the city center. It had parking and breakfast available and the staff were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable (we had a twin ensuite). Very flexible check in"
