「Great place, well furnished and equipped. Floor to ceiling windows. Staff were working to fix the broken AC when we arrived, which thankfully worked. Complex is Directly on the beach with several lounge chairs and umbrella areas on the property. It’s a rocky beach in front of the hotel but good swimming on the left near the river. 」

「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. 「Everything was great at the site. Beautifully appointed with lacquered wood, stucco, and tiles. The grounds are also beautiful. The host, Victoria, was unusually obliging. Can't say enough about this one. The downside is that Expedia booked two rooms for me and I was charged for the one I didn't need. 」

「The hotel is beautifully located surrounded by a tropical garden. We had a luxury room with a pretty view but to get there we had to climb very steep steps. The food was very good but the dinner/lunch menu was the same the 4 days we stayed there. 」
