"Check in staff were excellent, hotel conditions are dated and banged up, no breakfast included but there is a McDonald’s right in front of the hotel. Parking was $45 a night. Overall it was fine. However the proximity to the car rental place is pretty fantastic. "

"The lady at the counter when checking in was very pleasent and helpful room was clean bed was comfortable . Breakfast was great.We,had a rental car we decided not to use the parking garage the lady working in the parking farage was very unpleasent and telling at guests people weee upset"

"The room was warm when we arrived and the thermostat was at 60 degrees. It gradually cooled during the night but the a/c was obviously not working. The outlets on the right bed night stand did not work. And the container of bath soap was empty, so I used the hand soap from the vanity. The room was clean and nice. The shuttle to LAX was excellent and the drivers were extremely helpful. I’ll still stay at Sheraton Gateway again but I hope they do better on my next stay."

"We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and they advertised complimentary airport shuttle, every hour on the hour from 5:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. daily. We got to the airport and went to shuttle pick up. We waited and the shuttle never arrived. We called the hotel and were told that the shuttle does not run until 2:00 p.m. We ended up having to Uber to the hotel, paying $30. If I had been told that, I would have booked one of the other many hotels in the area that offer free shuttles from the airport. We arrived at the hotel, and they literally had signage on their window stating their shuttles run daily from 5:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. We said something to the lady at the desk about the shuttle situation, and she stated they do not have free shuttles, the shuttles cost $10 per person and only starts at 2:00 p.m. I showed her the message from I received from my booking stating that the shuttle is complimentary and runs 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. She told me that was wrong. Then we brought up that the sign on their window stated the shuttles run from 5:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. daily, and she told us that they have to have that posted, "for inspections". I have no idea what that means, but don't message me and have signage the wrong hours of the shuttle, and that they're complimentary when they're not. The room itself was fine, but the shuttle situation left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I will definitely stay elsewhere in the future due to this. "
