The rooftop bar, pool and restaurant were outstanding. Killer views, great cocktails, great food. The service was stellar at the restaurants and front desk as well. I thought I was in London between the room and service. The food was definitely California. I would stay here every time.

The hotel was fantastic! the coffee shop and restaurant on the first floor had good food and a good vibe. The room was nice but one suggestion- you could use an area for placing your suitcase in the room and a shelf or area in the bathroom for your toiletries. The real star of the show was the rooftop- the pool was amazing- an oasis! and the bar and restaurant were fantastic- the food was top notch- delicious!!

Am ersten Tag haben wir bemerkt, dass eines der beiden Fenster nicht richtig schließt und es daher recht laut von draußen reinkam. Was in Downtown ja durchaus zum Problem werden kann. Daher direkt zur Rezeption. Wurde sich auch drum gekümmert, allerdings hat es nichts gebracht und es war genauso undicht und laut wie vorher. Das größte Problem war, dass auf deren Rooftop Bar Parties mit sehr lauter Musik gefeiert wurden, welche man durch das undichte Fenster die ganze Nacht gehört hat. Auch etwas merkwürdig war die Aufteilung des Zimmers. Das Waschbecken war, trotz ausreichend Platz, nicht in der Toilette selbst, sondern im zimmereigenen Flur, was gerade nachts sehr störend ist, wenn man zu Zweit dort ist und einer nachts auf Toilette muss und sich dann quasi im Zimmer selbst die Hände waschen muss. Einen Abend haben wir im Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse einen Cocktail getrunken und ich hatte mir noch ne Kleinigkeit zu essen bestellt. Die Cocktails waren sehr klein und das Essen bestand aus zwei kleinen Hühnerfleischspießen. Gesamt haben wir für zwei Cocktails und das bisschen Huhn 70$ bezahlt. Im Vergleich dazu waren wir im Craig’s, einem recht hochpreisigem Promirestaurant in Hollywood, und haben für zwei vollwertige Essen und Getränke 90$ bezahlt. Das Zimmer sonst war großzügig geschnitten, ok wir hatten auch das premium Zimmer, sauber und ordentlich und hatte seinen Charme. Der Parkservice ist recht praktisch und funktioniert super.

Ich habe das Hotel gebucht, da es gut bewertet wurde und eine bekannte Hotelkette war, allerdings war ich und meine Frau sehr unzufrieden, der Service war mies, die Mitarbeiter waren alle frech, haben auf meine Fragen nicht geantwortet, es waren auch Proteste rund um Downtown, die Kunden wurden nicht gewarnt, ich fragte aktiv nach, ob die Proteste in der Gegend stattfinden, sie meinten nein seien sie unbesorgt.. wenige Stunden später war ich mitten in den Protesten vor dem Hotel. Unser Zimmer war nicht günstig, aber für die Reinigung auch nicht das Wert was ich bezahlt habe. Am Klo und am Bett waren, etliche Haare..

Central location, good on-location restaurants. The room door only has one lock on the handle. Housekeeping was strange, one day they entered my room with the do not disturb tag on the door. Another day I arrived late afternoon and had to wait for an extra 55 minutes for housekeeping to be done even though I had tidied my room beforehand in the morning. And then same day same housekeeping knocks at my door again later, acting confused. Other than that, decent room.

The Hoxton DTLA is so cute! I am probably their most loyal hotel guest at this point. The staff here are always so welcoming, respectful & personable, which you don’t find everywhere. it’s just so safe, bright and clean it’s perfect. Dayja and Isaac were so kind & helpful at the front desk! I highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the area

I had a disappointing experience at the Hoxton Hotel in Downtown LA. The valet attendant—a bald gentleman with a beard—was surprisingly rude and condescending upon arrival and even departure. Unfortunately, the negative tone continued at checkout, where the front desk agent was unhelpful and curt. She refused to accommodate a simple request to charge the stay to my company credit card, and the way the situation was handled was both unprofessional and baffling. I expected better service from a hotel of this caliber.

Customer service is inconsistent, some staff are friendly and helpful and others seem unhappy to be there or doing just a bare minimum. Room is clean, but the shower layout is awkward if you are staying with a friend - no place to undress before stepping into a shower. The area may be a bit shady at night, but no fault to the hotel.
