The Patrician is a very unique stay and much cozier than staying at your average hotel, and it was great to be so close to the Rose Bowl for a concert. TJ is an amazing host, and you can tell that he loves what he does. He made my friend and I feel very welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend if you need a place in Pasadena!

This property is beautiful and immaculate, living up to its description. Our host, TJ, was welcoming, thoughtful, and a trove of helpful tips for getting around and seeing LA. He makes this place truly sparkle compared with a regular hotel, beginning with an awesome breakfast. Highly recommended!

The Patrician Hollywood exceeded our expectations. We chose it for a short stay to get to know downtown LA and Pasadena arts, culture and food. TJ is an engaging host, with a wealth of local knowledge and the sophistication of a world traveler. The house is a perfect example of 1920s LA style (it could be a movie set), decorated with an eye for the exotic and comfortable. The views of the LA basin from the garden are expansive. The local streets are quiet (and excellent for a morning run).

We had an amazing time at the Patrician! My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and this was the perfect place to do it. TJ was an exceptional host, and the service and attention to detail he gave to our stay was the best I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel or BnB like this one. We will be recommending the Patrician to everyone in our lives who is looking for a peaceful getaway or a perfect home base for exploring LA!

We had an excellent stay and would happily return. TJ is a wonderful host, very friendly and genuinely helpful. Each morning he provided a warm breakfast treat along with a continental breakfast and fresh berries, which was such a lovely way to start the day. He was also knowledgeable about local activities and gave great recommendations that helped us make the most of our time. The location is outstanding, with amazing views and a peaceful, quiet setting that feels like a true retreat. The decor throughout the home is thoughtful and beautifully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. This is a lovely historic property, close in proximity to Hollywood and Universal Studios. The room and overall residence is clean, cozy and welcoming. The host, TJ is incredibly attentive and a charmer. Refreshments and Breakfast is top-notch. All-in-all, a wonderful stay.

TJ was an amazing host and the service was impeccable. The scenery of the property was relaxing and spectacular. This is an extremely unique, charming, historical property in a beautiful area which is just begging to be explored. The house itself warrants a longer visit to appreciate the care and attention paid to making it endlessly interesting, and TJ enhances the entire experience with his hospitality and knowledge. The gold standard for a bed and breakfast.

This bnb was a wonderful experience. TJ was one of the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing for a bed and breakfast, and truly showed me what the bed and breakfast experience should be from now on. TJ truly has a wealth of knowledge For Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area and is a very good resource for what to do if you ever are at a loss when you're on vacation.

Awesone BnB in the hills above Pasadena

We stayed their rhe night of our wedding. The host TJ upgraded us and brought us martinis when we arrived. The place is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We had a personal breakfast experience with TJ the next morning. We had a lovely time. Also, it was a great value for the price.

Amazing historic property with matching views. Antique pieces from all over the world match the 100 year old charming home. Host is most welcoming, offering help and services beyond expectations.
