We have stayed at this hotel two times. I requested a room with hardwood floors this time and was very pleased compared to my previous day. The staff is very friendly, hotel is centrally located and fairly priced. They have excellent food at the hotel restaurant, Sirocco.

Convenient to the Getty. Our room was spacious and quiet. It’s a pretty hotel with lovely grounds. Staff are nice. Seems like they are renovating as the hall floors were bare concrete. Good thing as the room needed a refresh. Only chair in room was a single desk chair. Coffeemaker in room was broken. Full breakfast included but service was very slow and overwhelmed.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if they didn't try to put us in a room in the stinky part of the hotel. I think they are trying cover some other odor with heavy perfume. This is the building that's up the hill from the lobby and the room nubers are 300s and 400s. They honored my request to move to the other building and from there on it was 5 star for the rest of our stay. Just be sure to request a room in the 100's or 200's.
